re week. Kimberly went over and above to help alleviate my daughter's fears - would the wedding go forward? Would the road to the winery not be flooded on the wedding day? We got to the event, and for the first time in 5 days, the sun peeked through the clouds. The reception room was illuminated by glorious sunshine and the colors Kimberly chose (hues of lavender and subtle greens) were breathtaking. I don't recall seeing a more perfect room. She was there to guide us all through the event, from start to finish. Small details like the bar outside overlooking the beautiful landscape that was covered in sweet greenery, to the smallest details on the desert bar - it was breathtaking. We cannot say enough about Kimberly, her artistic and creative abilities, and how she was able to bring to life my daughter's vision for an absolutely magical wedding.

She really listened, wrote notes and pulled up inspo pictures for reference. She really understood our vision and executed it beautifully. You MUST go with her florals) how stunning the decor was and just how beautiful and romantic the ambience was. Kim met with us about 5 months before our wedding and went over everything we liked/disliked. She customized everything about our wedding to make sure it was the perfect fit for us! All weddings at Cordiano are unique and are designed for the couple getting married. The wedding day itself was fantastic. Everything went according to plan and the setup Kim had designed was beautiful. Our guests loved the amazing views of the winery, the location of the cocktail hour, the hors d'oeuvre and entrees, and the excellent wine. She took care of extra planning like booking a photobooth, and referred us to the DJ who was a perfect fit for our crowd. We highly recommend booking Cordiano winery as your wedding! Not only does it have beautiful views and a great atmosphere, but the planning and execution with Kim also made our day perfect!

The food and beverages are all sourced through Cordiano Winery/Kim as well. Being a working professional it was critical having Kim take so much of the work/stress off of me during the wedding planning process. Kim had me create a Pinterest board and used that as a source to make my wedding vision a reality! Our guests have raved about every aspect of the evening including the food, decor, and overall service provided. I highly recommend Cordiano as a venue and loved working with Kim to plan our special day!

because I knew Kim would have it all handled. I will say, there were a few changes that were not communicated. I do understand that cutting the budget will limit what comes of it, but certain items were not brought to my attention until the rehearsal dinner or night of (more specifically, the chair selections and beer/wine choices). She helped us plan so many important details of the wedding...from food, to flowers, to decorations, she had it covered....which was great for me because I could hardly wrap my head around planning! The wedding day was beautiful, location was beautiful, decorations beautiful! To this day people continue to tell me how gorgeous it was and how much fun they had! Exactly what I wanted to hear and we had so much fun on this special day :) thanks so much to this team!

I had a lot of anxiety before the wedding because I didn't know where people would sit, how we would progress from one part of the wedding to the next (e.g. who would tell everyone when it was time to eat, cut the cake, etc...). When I would ask a question, it would take weeks to hear back. Twice while planning I called the venue to make sure that she still worked there since it took so long to hear back. She seemed to friendly and easy to work with at first, but I ended up being very disappointed in the outcome. I was surprised that someone who works as a wedding coordinator wouldn't have a checklist or something to stay organized or at the very least answer their emails/voice mails.

E best decision we made. Kim made everything so easy. Basically we gave Kim an idea of what we wanted and she made it happen! Literally I pinned maybe five images, because I’m not much of a Pinterest gal. That’s it. Just five pictures and she nailed it. All our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was, how beautiful the flowers were or how delicious the food was. Now on our Honeymoon and people are still talking about it. Kim is great - personable and knowledgeable she’s just wonderful! Thank you Kim!

I am telling you now, let Kimberly do what she does and she will not let you down! She is 10 people inside of one little spit fire! She does flowers, bakes desserts, coordinates everyone and designs everything for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I do not know how she does it all, but it was such an awesome experience to work with her, I hope one day I can work with her again!

The venue itself is set on top of a magical hilltop overlooking the most breathtaking views & sunsets I have ever seen. It is littered with hints of romance & wine that will melt your taste buds. Tristan & I instantly joined the wine club that day, got Kimberly’s contact information & emailed her with our potential wedding date of 2/23/18, which was available. We booked it in a heartbeat with an added bonus surprise of learning that if you join their wine club you receive 20% off all your wine for your event! Now fast-forward to wedding planning & the big day. Kimberly was the one factor that made our big day possible, honestly. She converted my "dream wedding" Pinterest board into a scene better then any picture I had found or could have imagined. Kimberly didn’t just help me plan my wedding she did absolutely everything! All I did was share my Pinterest Board with her, talk about some of the details, like what colors I wanted (dusty blues, frosted greens, blush pink & ivory), what kind of a theme I was aiming for (bohemian) & she just ran with it. She helped me understand & figure out so many things I would have missed for my wedding. I had no idea how much was involved in planning a wedding despite all the warnings I had heeded & the fact that I had been dreaming about this day for years. With tons of small candles and delicate lighting as well as a ton of flowers; it was a scene out of a storybook. Leading up to & on the big day itself, Kimberly not only dealt with the, at times very frustrating, dynamics of our families, but she shielded me from anything that could have possibly ‘upset the bride’ and ran every change others tried to make by me first. She also made it a point to make me feel like the star of the show in every correspondence & meet up. On the big day itself Tristan & I made a huge mistake & completely miscounted our guests & forgot one person on the seating charts and all! Kim was so sweet and accommodating and quickly & discreetly added a chair to a table and got a makeshift plate setting in a flash. Such an embarrassing mistake on our part that Kimberly graciously fixed in a heartbeat. Kim helped us with our small budget & even made me a cake! Tristan & I had planned to skip the cake ceremony due to my Crohn’s Disease rendering me gluten-free, dairy-free & grain-free. Then Kimberly swooped in to save the day again, the icing on top, literally. Kim made me a cake from scratch that I can actually eat and I have never been more thankful, humbled & immensely satisfied by someone’s act of kindness & understanding. Not only was the cake delicious, but it was beautiful & something we were able to take back to our hotel after the big night & enjoy again later. After all is said & done, Tristan & I feel so blessed to have met Kimberly. Not only was the first day marking the rest of our lives together perfect, & breathtakingly beautiful, but now we have such perfect memories of a place we get visit frequently, enjoy quality food & wine at, mingle with staff that feels more like family, & reminisce of our wedding day. -Mr & Mrs Nuñez

o family members inserting their own opinions...Kim did not skip a beat and delivered the dreamiest setting I could have ever imagined. From our florals to our stunning and delicious cake, to every small yet beautiful detail in between, our guests were in awe when they stepped into Cordiano Winery that day. Her creation made that already breathtaking setting simply unreal. She's a pleasure to work with, an excellent communicator, and will truly become your friend by the end of this whirlwind process. We planned our wedding remotely from Chicago but knew we were in amazing hands since our first conversation with Kim. If there was a way to give her more stars than five, she'd get them all!

ll our wedding. The style of our evening was something only a talented design eye could pull off – whimsical, simple, and boho-chic. We didn’t choose wedding ‘colors’, but rather a mood to set – natural textures of macramé and wood grain, paired with Cordiano’s burnt orange mud walls, then layer in lots of whites, hints of gold, and gorgeous, lush, jewel-toned florals. Can you imagine?! Our ceremony was something out of a fairy-tale. Kim draped white and ivory chiffon over natural wood beams to create our beautifully simple altar, and the sun shone just right through Cordiano’s panoramic windows to set a peaceful, spiritual, and intimate scene for our tears and “I do’s”. Our cocktail hour kicked off with Kim’s refreshingly fun bellini bar that matched the pinks and oranges of the sun setting over the Escondido valley. Guests ate caprese skewers and bruschetta, while listening to light-hearted, romantic songs chosen by us and played by our awesome DJ (recommended to us by Kim). Her team even unwrapped and set up our custom corn hole set for kiddos to play! Our reception blew guests away with twinkling Edison bulbs and candles, lush florals, a cozy-chic lounge, panoramic views, hearty Italian lasagna and chicken fiorentina, salads, breadsticks, wood-fired pizza, and our whimsical cake topped with jewel-toned wool pom poms. The whole room felt light, romantic, fun, and personalized. And the dance party was bumpin! The only hiccup of the entire event was with our bridal party’s floral crowns. Upon arrival, they were too large for our heads and my vision, so I called my cousin (how lucky that she is a floral crown master!) to help re-design and trim down the crowns to better fit our heads. All that said, my husband and I can’t thank Kim and her team enough for their talent, their patience, their poise, their attention to detail, and for making our wedding truly ours. We wish we could do it all over again. Thank you!!!

Well versed in weddings she and the family handle every aspect from the food, cake, floral arrangements, to recommendations for any other service you might need (such as tux's, dresses, DJ's, and photographers). Not to be misunderstood when I say handled I mean She and the Family made our cake! our floral arrangement! cooked the food and catered the remaining not made on site! I wouldn't be surprised if there were more hidden talents with this Family nestled in the gorgeous hills of North County's Highland Valley that I have yet to experience!!! I expect nothing more than this Winery and it's family to flourish! They are very what you see is what you get! and let me tell you their product is nothing short of spectacular! Any time we had difficulty when choosing something Kim would offer her advice and recommendations for floral arrangements to taste in food. Our guests loved every aspect of the wedding. We've been informed by guests that it was a fun wedding where they enjoyed the location, spirit of the winery (vibe), service, food and wine. My wife and I both have wine connoisseurs we know and they absolutely loved the wine and food pairing! It was nothing but an enjoyable evening packed with family, friends, wine, food and fun. Kim's entire planning phase is purely based on utilizing pinterest for ideas. I'm the groom and didn't utilize or even know of pinterest! If you're not familiar with pinterest it's OK! I've always heard of using wedding planning books or magazines to select specific plans, ideas, colors, ect... She will meet with you and your groom/bride for an initial planning meeting. You will discuss everything there so plan on spending some time with her to allow her to get to know you! Don't rush! I could tell from our first encounter that Kim uses this time to get to know you and your significant other. She holds true to your desires and choices for your wedding, and pays specific attention to all of the details you desire. If you're wanting things done in a specific manner tell Kim she will get it done! Kim not only facilitated, organized and managed the entire event but also painstakingly worked to ensure we stayed as close to budget as possible. Overall working with Kim and Cordiano was an extremely enjoyable experience for my husband and I. Thank you for making our wedding day so spectacular!!! Don't let the first glance of this Family owned winery fool you! They are the package deal and let me tell you what you see is what you get and if you don't see it ask and you will get it!!!! I expect nothing but a spectacular future in store for Cordiano Winery, do not let them pass you by it was an experience of a life time!

Kimberly (Sisti&co) took care of everything and the reception was amazing. Everyone that attended said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The food at most weddings is terrible, but there was no way we could go wrong with home made lasagna, baked ziti and pizza for the kids!? Plus it was at a Winery... so the wine was excellent! The only downside was having to leave when it was all over. Could not have asked for more!

All of the visions and ideas we had in mind for our wedding were expertly carried out in every way (food, decor, timing, wine -of course-, guidance, planning, etc) and the extra touches added by Kimberly along with the generosity and warmness radiating from the owners, made for a wonderful experience and as little stress on our end as possible. Having an onsite coordinator is a perk that you do not realize its importance until the last few weeks leading up to your big day. Kimberly was always available to offer a suggestion, answer questions and simply calm my nerves as our wedding day approached. She has an amazing eye for detail and expertly captured the look and feel for what I wanted our ceremony and reception to look like. We received so many compliments on our decor, florals, cake - and so many of those kudos are directly because of the care, ownership and pride Kimberly takes with her weddings - I know she was truly vested in our wedding and wasn't just pushing through an event. She wanted us to be happy and went above and beyond with achieving that. We felt like our small wedding was just as important to them as the larger receptions they host - that's so important to feel that way and Cordiano delivered.

l and magical it was. The venue speaks for itself and I wanted to keep the decor very simple. Wintery greens, candals and rustic chairs and tables... PLUS champagne velvet table cloths mixed with farm tables. It was heavenly. Kimberly's style is amazing - I continued to tell her "whatever you think" because I trusted her style so much! It was the perfect venue - they provided the beer and wine, dessert, and dinner. I used her suggested vendors for photos and DJ (Eden Day Photography and DJ Brian Lehmer) and they were amazing and just as wonderful to work with. It was a very stress free experience with little coordinating on my part. We even ended up having our rehearsal lunch there - because I needed our family and friends to have their amazing pizza, too. I highly recommend Cordiano!

The winery itself is a very cozy, intimate, beautiful spot that makes you feel right at home. When we consulted with Kim about pricing for the reception, our first impression was that this was a woman who loves what she does. Right from the start, she was interested in us, and in what we wanted for our reception. Other wedding coordinators we had met with didn't give us this same vibe. Simply put, Kim is a magician when it comes to wedding coordinating. We met a total of three times, but communicated a lot via email, and with just this, she put together the most gorgeous reception ever. She made the venue look absolutely stunning. I look back so fondly on this day in large part to her. Not only did my husband and I love it, but our guests couldn't stop raving about the location and the decor for weeks after the wedding. I am beyond happy with Cordiano and with Kim, and I give them my highest recommendation for your wedding =)

just as my daughter was looking for. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I think that the actual coordination of the ceremony and reception timing could've been better. The reception started about an hour late and guess were getting anxious for food to be served…but all was well once the food came because it was absolutely delicious! Overall it was a very good experience.

She makes wedding planning easy - all you need to do is tell her what you want and she'll make it happen. Secondly, this venue is absolutely stunning. In the hills, it offers gorgeous sunset views that create some breathtaking wedding photos. Built in the owner's back yard, the venue is quaint and comfortable. It is a little bit of a drive on a windy road, but it's well worth it when you get up there. It's hard to come up with more words for how gorgeous this venue is, so do yourself a favor and make a trip up there to check it out. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. The food and wine are spectacular. The red wines are specifically wonderful. I particularly enjoy the cabernet franc while my wife enjoyed the pinot noir. Wine and food tastings are included with your "wedding package," and that's enjoyable in itself. The tastings also offered a great chance to meet the family that owns the winery (they even gave us an individualized "tour" of the barrel room with some tastings straight out of the barrels)! For our food we went with the penne ala rosa and a chicken dish. Both were delicious and all of our guests were quite sated. One of the things we love about this place is that it is entirely family owned and operated. The owners came directly from Italy, while their sons seem to run most of the day-to-day business. They are some of the most warm and friendly people you could ever meet, and they'll make sure that the winery feels like your home too. Suggestions: Make sure you order a little extra food. We ordered "for the number" of people at our wedding. The appetizers were gone before everyone had a chance to partake of them and we had just enough of the main course meals to make sure every body got some. We had absolutely no leftover food, and I'm sure people would have eaten more if we had ordered it. The venue does not provide speakers. So if you don't hire a DJ that provides their own sound equipment and you opt to do sound yourself, make sure you get some good speakers (or several of them). We opted to do music ourselves and provide our own speakers. The speakers we had sounded fine in our backyard and we thought would be enough for the ceremony. Once we got to the venue, you could really only hear the music if you were within about 15 feet of the speakers due to how open the venue is. All in all, we would DEFINITELY recommend this venue for a wedding (or even just a date night out). We will be returning often just for the sheer pleasure of it and we know we will be welcomed warmly every time we do. Even the suggestions I mentioned really were of no fault of the venue, simply things we would have done a little differently. Our wedding at Cordiano ended up being exactly what we wanted and we have an absolutely stunning photo album to remember it. If you're looking for a winery wedding, Cordiano will not disappoint!

Read the other reviews too… Every word about Kim (and the Cordiano staff) is true. By the wedding date, I truly felt Kim was more a family member than a wedding coordinator! I think Kim feels that way as way too. She’s not planning from the side… She’s IN it, living it, right there with you! The venue: FANTASTIC! Go there. Have a pizza and a glass of wine. You’ll know right away it’s the place to have your wedding. It’s not difficult to imagine you are sitting among the grapes in the hills of Italy, having the rustic wedding of your dreams! Our wedding date was late August. Perfect time to have a sunset celebration. Ceremony in the daylight; sunset and evening reception. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening… Sunset behind the hills across the valley and “Super Moon” rising from the mountains behind. Both hanging in the sky at the same time! We held our ceremony, pre-reception wine hour, and full reception at Cordiano. I can’t recommend this enough. . . An amazing setting for a ceremony and a perfect reception venue! Such a convenience when you and your guests do not have to travel between multiple spots. We had 150 guests (Cordiano's capacity). The venue accommodated the group perfectly. Our ceremony was under the rustic, open air barn-style veranda, with a simple, yet beautiful rustic alter. Plenty of room. We moved down to the main terraces with vine covered trellises for a wine and appetizer hour (while the Cordiano staff seamlessly prepared the veranda for the dinner & reception). The terraces were elegantly adorned with warm lighting to pick up perfectly where the setting sun left off. Appetizers and wine are superb! The veranda was beautifully arranged for the reception dinner. Every requested detail was perfectly captured; from the champagne table cloths with lace overlays, vintage place settings, and rustic floral arrangements to the warm chandelier lighting. The veranda has a stage area the perfectly accommodated our live music ensemble. (Great for band of any size or DJ. Doesn’t take up any of your dance floor!) The table arrangement was perfect. Plenty of room for tables and good sized dance floor. The Italian food options prepared by the kitchen are absolutely delicious! (And vegetarian options!) Kim made our cake as well. Elegant and delicious! Cordiano Winery breathes Love and Warmth! It is a perfect setting for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

It's that typical request every bride must say to Kim: I want BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING and all of the details and food and music to go seamlessly, but I also don't want to be bankrupt at the start of my marriage. : ) And Kim delivers on every front, and then some. First, the cost because that has to be far and away the most practical concern people have: Cordiano is a hidden gem in this regard. This venue is by far the most reasonably priced venue in San Diego county that offers the views, the beautiful terrace, an on-site wedding coordinator who truly, truly loves what she does and you can feel that from her the second you meet her, and personal contacts with extremely talented, well regarded, and reasonably priced music, officiants, flowers, etc. You give Kim a theme or an idea, and she dedicates her time and her energy for your vision to come to life...but at the SAME time, she keeps you very well apprised of the budget and respects your parameters. I told her that I wanted simple (it was a small wedding); but simple did not mean plain and she just "got" me on my vision that I could not articulate myself. During the planning process (and we met multiple times, which she never seemed to mind and always seemed to have time for), she came to the table with a series of pictures and ideas for us to narrow down and streamline into a final vision. And after all of the talking was over, I find in my inbox emails that walk me through different ideas, picture by picture, from table decor to dramatic, draped entrances to the terrace. She's really that good at taking your vague ideas and creating a concrete plan. And I speak from experience because I am a planner myself. And even though I pride myself on my organizational skills, planning your wedding, no matter how small it is and how simple you THINK it is going to be, is stressful and time consuming for the bride...and Kim really knows how to take the pressure off. In the end, she took the blank canvas of the terrace (with that jaw dropping backdrop of mountains and vineyards as your built in ambiance), and she arranged the following: Caprice Strings for music (and that is another review - they are magical), she HANDMADE our wedding favors (miniature boxes with succulents inside), she negotiated with multiple vendors to arrange the best prices for vintage tea sets for the post-wedding brunch, a lovely vintage seating area on the terrace (complete with sofa, vintage clock, candle sticks, a trunk, etc. - you seriously have to see it to believe it), a beautifully decorated arch, a dramatic, billowy draped entrance way with lanterns...I'm just getting started here but the word limit is fast approaching. What really, really blew my mind was that I sent her a picture of a table setting on pinterest and she not only took that idea and re-created it, she improved upon it with her own touches-my photographer said that it was a joy to capture this wedding and its creativity). This doesn't even include the vegan wedding cake. She. baked. a. vegan. wedding. cake. ..AMAZING. I need a whole other chapter to discuss her skills at the evening party hosted off site-she made my friend's backyard into a wedding wonderland. In sum, it was perfection.

ndly and down to earth. She did a fabulous job understanding my vision for the wedding and reception by finding only the best linens, glassware, and china for the reception. She understood our budget and was able to put the florals to double use for the ceremony and reception. Cordiano has beautiful views across the vineyards and our photographer did an awesome job of captializing off of those views and all the details of Kim's design expertise. Our family and friends also loved Cordiano and had nothing but lovely things to say about the venue, the food, and the wine. We had a small wedding, but Cordiano was perfect for the intimate and classy ceremony we desired. Cordiano is a gem and we highly recommend them for weddings and other functions!!

ibe requests down to every detail! Throughout the planning experience Kim kept communication open between her and I, even sending my fiancé courtesy copy emails keeping his deployed worries at ease. The staff at Cordiano Winery treated all of us just like family. Even when our get away motorcycle battery died- all of the guys chipped in and tried to help us find a way to make it work! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all on the premisis (along with backup plans to move any portion to the wine cellar for weather contingencies). The balcony view of the mountains and vineyards made the most beautiful backdrop for all of our wedding photos. The sunset from the winery is the absolute best in the county! We expected everything to be way over our price range, but surprisingly, Kim and the family worked hard to help us stay well under our budget of 6,000. Did I mention they catered our 25 guests with an exquisite and authentic Italian meal that blew everyone at the table away?! Kimberly even handmade our gorgeous naked wedding cake. DELICIOUS. The antique chandeliers, the beautiful China, the geneuinely heartfelt touches for me and my groom (stunning handmade signs on our chairs, cute silverware and toasting flutes just for us two)... One word sums it up- perfection. Kimberly and the staff at Cordiano Winery made all of my dreams come true. A perfect memory that will last beyond a lifetime!

g for the size of our wedding (145). They did a fantastic job setting up for the wedding and the wedding was seamless and absolutely beautiful. I had no problems or worries on our special day, and I got LOTS of great feedback from friends and family about how much they enjoyed the view, food, and atmosphere. They also do food and drinks, rentals, set-up and take-down.
