You may typically think of Cancun when it comes to a party destination, but it's time to put Mexico's west coast on your radar. A Cabo San Lucas bachelor party offers everything on land and water you could be looking for—beach time, adventuring, good food and drink and a fun nightlife, too.

What Are Some Cabo San Lucas Bachelor Party Ideas?

Water lovers will have no issue finding fun here, nor will land lubbers looking for time on the beach or by the pool. Whatever your groom wants, he'll find it on a Cabo vacation. And don't forget to thank the crew for making the trip with a gift from The Knot Shop.

For the Adventurer

Take the wate to find plenty of adventure, whether that looks like sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, or stand up paddle boarding. There are plenty of options for getting out on the water in Cabo. Back on dry land, Cabo also offers ATVing and ziplining for real thrill-seekers.

For the Golfers

For a different kind of adventure, consider playing a round at one of 12 championship golf courses on offer throughout Cabo. Teeing up with the ocean (and maybe even some whales) in the background is a must-have experience.

For the Party Animals

Find a nightlife that rivals its cousin, Cancun. Cabo offers pool parties, beach bars and Marina Boulevard for a bar crawl experience.

What Do You Do at a Bachelor Party in Cabo San Lucas?

Fit everything you want to conquer and more into a Cabo San Lucas bachelor using our three-day itinerary to make the most of your beachside weekend getaway.

Day 1

Morning: SUR Beach House, rated 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor, is a great spot to start the weekend with ocean views and a healthy kick from its juice and smoothie bar. But if you're looking for heftier fare, breakfast options also include Swiss enchiladas and an egg casserole made with guajillo chili and peanut sauce and served with melted panela cheese, avocado and pita bread.

Afternoon: You have plenty of time to explore the waters of Cabo, but today, make your first adventure on land with an ATV tour. The three hour excursion has 45 miles of off-road terrain to cover, where you'll race through a course that offers Pacific Ocean views and plenty of dirt and mud, too.

Evening: For dinner, grabbing an early-ish bite at The Office is a Cabo must-do with dinner tables right on the sand and a lively party atmosphere. Along with Mexican staples (guac, burritos and fajitas) you'll find plenty of fresh seafood including fish tacos, Baja-style jumbo shrimp and sea bass. Enjoy the cocktails and live music, but don't get caught lingering, you won't want to miss your next stop.

Since you didn't get out on the water today, try heading out for the night on a Rockstar Boat Party, which runs from 8 to 11 p.m. on Fridays. The yacht trip includes an all-you-can-drink open bar, live DJs, games and activities and plenty of dancing and fun. For an extra cost you can also have premium bottles on board.

Day 2

Morning: Wake up for brunch at The Sand Bar, a Cabo institution offering views of Land's End and Medano Beach. Dishes include chilaquiles, Mexican scrambled eggs and more, plus housemade sangria and bloody Marias, which can be enjoyed on the restaurant's roofdeck.

Afternoon: Today, hit the links. At Palmilla, a Jack Nicklaus-designed course, you'll find 27 holes available. A popular favorite is the Ocean Course, which offers 600-feet of elevation changes that afford picturesque views of the Sea of Cortez. If you'd rather be on the water instead of playing by the water, consider booking a snorkeling tour in Santa Maria Bay, where you'll swim and dive with sea fans, rock walls and plenty of tropical reef fish on a three-hour guided excursion.

Evening: For dinner tonight, make your way to Mi Casa, a great spot right next to Town Square. Here you can find a traditional menu of Mexican fare, or opt for the delicious tasting menu and leave all the choosing to the chefs. Then head out to Marina Boulevard for TripAdvisor's #1 bar crawl to some of its most lively bars and nightclubs. You'll hit 12 to 14 bars on the journey, with drink specials and games along the way.

Day 3

Morning: For a party-style brunch, try Mango Deck, which offers cocktails, beers and a juice bar if you need a little time to recover from last night. Plus, enjoy a menu of favorite breakfast fare (French Toast, waffles and eggs) and fancier treats like lobster tacos. All of this, of course, is happening on the beach, with live music and/or a DJ playing, of course.

Afternoon: From the beach, go poolside to one of Cabos most popular pool parties at the Omnia Dayclub. The Endless Sunday pool party is Mexico-meets-Vegas with a more laid back vibe than what you'd find in Sin City but all the flare, including daybeds for renton, VIP bottle service offerings, a DJ, pool games and of course, plenty of drinks.

Evening: For your last dinner, step over from the pool to Casa Calavera for authentic Mexican cuisine with modern twists. The restaurant offers ocean views and tasty treats including queso fundido, fried oysters, lamb shank barbacoa and chicken tinga tacos. If you can keep the stamina going, walk over to the Shorebar Los Cabos after dinner for a more casual drink by the Vidanta hotel pool.
