Jenny Packham creates show-stopping bridal looks, perfect for the bride who wants to blend traditional with a fashion-forward edge; offering brides-to-be a multitude of gowns, jumpsuits and separates. Designer Jenny Packham's Signature Style

Launched in 1988, Packham's distinctive signature style has helped revolutionize the bridal industry, introducing a contemporary approach to design and styling. Jenny Packham's 2020 bridal collection contains 32 diversified looks, all created with the goal of getting out of her comfort zone. Taking inspiration from across the globe, these creations will work as well at a South American beach wedding as at a French chateau or New York rooftop affair.

A Brief History of Wedding Dress Designer Jenny Packham

Jenny went to Southampton Solent University to study fashion, before attaining first class honors from Saint Martin's School of Art. After her education, she founded the Jenny Packham company in 1988, designing evening and bridal wear. Her designs were first presented that same year at the London Designer Show.

Jenny Packham Collection History

Jenny Packham's first bridal collection launched in 1997, featuring a soft and romantic style with vintage inspired beading—a complete contrast to the more voluminous, heavy satin and taffeta trends of the time. This signature design aesthetic transformed the bridal industry and remains integral to Jenny Packham designs. In 2013, a retrospective selection of her work was shown in the Raphael Gallery of the V&A Museum, in celebration of 25 years of her label. Jenny Packham bridal collections were shown in London Fashion Week for several years, briefly moving the exhibition to Milan for four seasons before returning to London. As of 2011, Jenny Packham wedding dress have been displayed in New York and London.

Other Jenny Packham Labels

Collaborating with Vera Wang and Zac Posen, Jenny Packham was the first British designer to launch a collection with David's Bridal. The collection, Wonder, brings Jenny's signature style and brand name to a much wider international audience, featuring wedding gowns, bridesmaid styles, mother-of-the-bride dresses, and flower girl dresses. Launched in February 2016, the collection is available in America, Canada and the UK.

Famous Jenny Packham Brides

Jenny Packham has created stunning looks for many celebrities not only on the red carpet, but also for their special day! Actresses Eliza Sam and Gianna Jun both donned romantic Jenny Packham gowns on their wedding days, as well as singer Miki Yeung. In 2015, British painter Kim Sears married Andy Murray, two-time Wimbledon champion and two-time gold medalist, in a gorgeous empire-style Jenny Packham wedding dress.

For her own wedding, Jenny said goodbye to the traditional wedding white, and designed a dove grey guipure lace dress that featured three-quarter length sleeves and a demure neckline.
