She adds that Yellowstone National Park offers, "quite possibly the most extraordinary engagement you could ask for." One of the most well-known National parks in the US, you can even make a weekend of it and camp overnight for a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Jackson Hole, Jackson, Wyoming

"Surrounded by the astounding Teton Range, Jackson Hole blends rugged wilderness with refined charm and luxury, making it the perfect spot to begin this next chapter," Whitehead says. Another one of the more popular places for tourists in Wyoming, Jackson Hole is also quite magical in the winter months with top-rated ski and snowboard offerings.

Bighorn Mountains, Buffalo, Wyoming

If a more private but still beautiful and nature-filled setting is what you're looking for, check out the Bighorn Mountains in Buffalo. The serene and untouched beauty of the Bighorn Mountains offers a secluded, peaceful haven where you can share an intimate and romantic proposal and forget about the rest of the world for just a little while.

Medicine Bow National Forest, Laramie, Wyoming

Spanning across Wyoming and Colorado, the Medicine Bow National Forest offers a sense of adventure and natural splendor that Whitehead says creates an unforgettable backdrop for your Wyoming proposal. You can turn it into an overnight experience by camping in cabins, or make it more of a day trip with a hike or simply taking in your surroundings.

Hot Springs State Park, Thermopolis, Wyoming

The soothing warmth of natural hot springs, surrounded by scenic landscapes, makes Hot Springs State Park an intimate and rejuvenating setting for a proposal in Wyoming that Whitehead says will warm your hearts forever. The famous springs are always at a balmy 128 degrees and you can indulge in a dip at the State Bath House for free. Just don't forget your bathing suits!
