is very fairly priced. They supplied everything you could possibly need, and have wonderful preferred vendors for things that aren’t included. We had an outdoor ceremony and it was beautiful. The option the have an indoor area just In case of weather put my mind at ease. Not only is there an indoor area for backup, but it is gorgeous inside so it doesn’t even feel like a “backup”. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to have my dream wedding.

The off-season pricing is very competitive - it was half the cost of other venues I toured. Overall, I was exceptionally pleased with our experience at Riverbend. We are so glad we picked them for our special day!

ding was in the indoor chapel, which is absolutely gorgeous and needs hardly any additional decor. My friend had hers in the outdoor gazebo overlooking the Missouri river, and that too was beautiful. You can decide on the day of whether you want it indoor or outdoor, while a lot of other places with multiple ceremony sites make you choose in advance and charge you extra if you want to move it. The reception area is downstairs from the chapel, and like the chapel needs very little decor. Everything there is elegant and classy, and lends itself to a variety of styles. The food and DJ are included in their package, and both provide excellent services. Toni, Terry, and the rest of the staff run a very well-oiled machine from beginning to end; you don't have to worry about a thing! I also have Celiac's, which means I absolutely cannot have gluten, and we wanted a gluten-free reception and they catered to our needs! It meant so much to us to have a team that made our day what we needed it to be. Thanks, Riverbend!

were also wonderful to work with and very little hassle. Toni is great and is very organized! Tonya was our wedding coordinator, and she and the staff took care of so much! They do a great job at making it all come together in a timely and organized manner. I loved working with Riverbend Chapel and the wedding was beautiful! My only suggestion would be to let them know if you want anything from the tables collected for yourself after the reception or have your guests collect their own wedding favors from a single table before leaving. The staff is incredibly efficient but most of my guests left the table to watch the cake cutting, first dance, and then join in on the dance floor and their wedding favors were cleaned up with the dinnerware. Definitely not a big deal, I would have just mentioned it to Tonya prior to the wedding or set it up differently, if I had known. Otherwise, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!

The ceremony site was breathtaking. We chose the outdoor option and didn't decorate a thing. It was already picture perfect. I loved how our photos turned out on the swing and all across the property. Everything was set up just the way I envisioned. It was just the perfect day at the perfect venue. Everyone that came couldn't stop talking about how wonderful it all was. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a venue to take beautiful pictures, have a ceremony, and then just go right down to the ballroom for the reception. Easy for the bridal party and easy for the guests. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. communication was perfect and they totally understand the bride will have a million questions during the process- all of which they answered and helped with. Made my special day just perfect.

s the place. It has been perfect ever since then. We got married early November and the colors were still perfect. The set up is gorgeous even without the decorations you may bring in. The staff was so easy to work with and very friendly. The wedding coordinator was awesome at getting our huge wedding party organized. Riverbend Chapel and the staff made it so much easier to get the wedding day perfect for us.

ovide the bride with a wedding coordinator 6 weeks before the big day and they will answer any and all questions for you and they are there the whole time for your big day. The only venue to offer this, and it was super helpful! The venue is Beautiful inside and out, and they provide handicap access which was nice to have for my elderly family. At the end of the big night in the pouring rain the coordinator drove my 70 yr. Old mother and God mother in the golf cart to their cars even though she got soaked! I was super appreciative! Items they could do better with : 1. offering more food tastings, or perhaps asking the bride's that Rsvp which foods they would like to try at the tasting. We had a short engagement only 8 months and had to wait for and attend a 2nd tasting to try the chicken parm! Which side note, glad I waited it was amazing! Also, they told me nobody ever gets the pork with the Brown gravy they always go for the fruit Glaze, well everyone at my reception loved the pork with the brown gravy! So we highly recommend that too! 2. The chairs are not set up for the ceremony in advance so I could see the Layout. I wish they were bc I would have changed it! The aisle wasn't wide enough... And we are not "heavy" people (not trying to offend, just saying) and since we had a smaller amnt of people and the chairs didn't go to back of aisle it really confused my flower girl and ring bearer when they went down the aisle. 3. They decided to turn on the leaf blower as we were taking photos and not only could I not hear my photographer instructions but this interfered with my mother's oxygen also bc of them blowing stuff around 4. Wish they would allow more time for the photographers to take photos. You aren't allowed to arrive prior to 3 on your big day and only 1 hour for photos after ceremony. We missed out on some photos with my large family bc of this! But overall, definitely 5 stars. They worked hard on our big day!

ls and I to get ready and take pictures. A nice reception area (aka not a decorated KC hall or school gym). The Vineyard at Riverbend Chapel filled all my dreams and more. The grounds are breathtaking - you have to see it in person. Everyone kept telling me how the setting was so perfect, and I have to agree it was! We had an outdoor ceremony overlooking the river, and it was gorgeous. The vineyard is perfect for photos, as is the rope swing, and the bridal suite. Even the house provides a beautiful backdrop. The reception area is beautiful even before we brought in decorations. Really the only thing we brought was the centerpieces (which Tonya and her staff set up and broke down for us), favors, and memorial table pictures/sign. Everything was taken care of for us, including packing up our car at the end of the night. Toni, Tonya, and the entire Riverbend staff took such good care of us, and truly made our wedding the fairytale I've always dreamed of. Thank you!!

It met all of our needs and the staff is beyond helpful. If you are looking for an indoor or outdoor ceremony with a fun, different reception -- this place is for you! We cant thank Toni enough for all her hard work. Also Pastor Darrell is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable, he really wants to get to know you as a couple before the ceremony. It made it so heartfelt. 5 stars!!!

enue is absolutely gorgeous, the staff was amazing and the food was delicious. Tonya was our wedding coordinator for the day and she went far beyond her duties to make sure we were all taken care of and having a good time. I truly do not know what I would have done without her. Our wedding day was flawless and Toni and Tonya played a huge part in that. What sold me on Riverbend in the beginning was the fact that they offered a "One-Stop-Shop." They had recommended vendors for every service you could possibly need. At first, I didn't sign up with all their vendors (I wanted to leave myself with a little shopping around to do) but by the end I went with everyone they recommended. We had to use their caterer and DJ but we had the option to use anyone we liked for everything else. This made my life so much easier and every vendor they recommended was spot on (photographer, photo booth, flowers, cake, etc). Before I got married so many people told me that if they had the opportunity to do it all over again they would fly off somewhere nice and keep their wedding simple. Well not me, I have absolutely no regrets. Riverbend Chapel was worth every moment of time and every dollar spent. A perfect place for a perfect day for sure!

The wedding coordinators were so cooperative and helpful. They seemed to share our joy which added to our fun occasion. Most importantly, they really worked to please the bride and groom. It's uniqueness, beautiful setting and loving environment is a great way for any couple to begin their married life together.

My wedding was a dream come true and Riverbend played a HUGE part in making that happen. If I had to do it all over again I would choose this venue a million times over!
