They have an arbor to use if you wish or you can bring in your own decorations. They also have a bridal suite to use to get ready & change if you so wish. The rooms are nice for a wedding night stay as well!

issa C was wonderful helping me with all the details and made the planning process so easy. We stayed overnight and enjoyed the breakfast the next morning too. I highly recommend The Lodge for weddings and receptions; they make your special day really shine!

e highway, they accidentally used a previous iteration of the seating chart (after assuring me they had received my new version and updated it in their files), and a few other small organizational things, like saying there would be a lapel mic when there was none and not leaving quite enough time between the previous group's wedding ceremony and my own (her ceremony ended at 4, mine started at 5... that's not really enough time to switch out a whole set of wedding guests and take pre-ceremony photos). Other than those, the day was absolutely perfect, and I was glad we went with the lodge. Everyone enjoyed the food, the dance floor was the perfect size, and the venue looks great in photos.

We worked with Jim planning the wedding; he offered suggestions for DJ, wedding cake was provided in our package and was amazing, suggestions for another hotel with a shuttle service for other wedding guests. Breakfast the next morning was delish. The honeymoon suite was beautiful with hot tub and champagne. We had guests with dietary issues and they were amazing in accommodating them. Orlando's also has tasting events so we were able to conveniently try all the food options, and they kept a copy of our notes from the event In our file. The lodge is amazing, we only needed a few decorations and centerpieces otherwise it was ready to go day of! Our photographers loved it! We would definitely suggest to anyone that wants a beautiful, low stress wedding. We had so many compliments on the venue, the food, the elegance of our event!

sit by. We stayed in a suite on the top floor and the room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfortable. I do have some complaints: the staff was very controlling and most of the time they were rude to my guests. No one was ever rude to me, as the bride. The lady in charge of my event that night had made statements that "I'm only part time" "that's not supposed to be part of my job" The lodge seemed to have some unwritten rules about things and instead of just explaining these rules to my family and guests they just got snippy with us. The morning after my event I wanted to open my gifts in front of my family during breakfast and they tried to charge me for using the room. I opened 10 gifts which took all of maybe 20 minutes. When my husband was loading the car he got yelled at for parking in the wrong area, there were no signs saying you couldn't park there. All in all it was a great event with lots of great memories but the staff needs to take a chill pill. Or write all the rules out so we actually know the rules! Also booking the rooms was a nightmare. The staff member that is in charge of rooms is not very bright. He wouldn't take payment from one of my guests via phone or when they arrived. No one was there to tell us whose room was who's. They came and found me, the bride during my reception to tell me that one of the overnight guests still needs to pay and made me point them out to her. Seriously so unprofessional. If they would have taken payment the two times that they tried to pay that would not have happened!

feel to it. It's absolutely gorgeous. I love the log cabin feel, went great with my fall themed wedding. The people were very helpful. They took care of set up and break down. And the location was def in our price range. My only complaint is that I wish they had turn the AC way down. I was pretty sweaty partly due to nerves but mostly due to it being a little warm with all those bodies. But even with me sweating throughout the ceremony, I would still say it was a perfect day. And we got some AMAZING photographs from that day.

We took our pictures on the grounds at the Lodge (which are also quite beautiful) and I have only seen a preview, but they look amazing. I highly recommend the Lodge to anyone who is having a smaller sized wedding as it provided the perfect cozy and comfortable atmosphere that we were looking for.

Brides, they do have a room to get ready in and it is pretty big. Getting ready there was so much fun and I have some beautiful pictures from there!

Also, it would have been nice to have a larger area for dancing that wasn't completely closed off from the other areas, but it turned out fine and the people who wanted to dance were able to. Overall, I loved the place. The food was great and we got tons of compliments. My husband and I even spent the night in one of their suites, and we LOVED it. We are planning on going back to spend our anniversary!
