The Phoenix is a historic landmark hotel in Cincinnati, OH. The efficient team at the hotel will go above and beyond so that you have the wedding of your dreams. Built in 1893, The Phoenix, originally known as The Phoenix Club, was the first Jewish Businessmen’s organization in the area. Samuel Hannaford, the architect, was inspired by Italian renaissance architecture. He was also known to have changed Cincinnati’s landscape with his other buildings such as City Hall, St. George Church in Clifton and the now The Cincinnatian Hotel. The Phoenix Club was purchased in 1911 as a sports annex only to be closed in 1983 when business took a hit. After three years, the building was purchased again and renovated to become one of the city’s finest private dining, restaurant, and event facilities. In true Phoenix fashion, it rose from its ashes. You can celebrate your coming together in any one of their gorgeous spaces. The Archway Ballroom has a seating capacity of 170 and is perfect for ceremonies and receptions. It boasts of a spacious dance floor, Tiffany glass windows and the foyer area adjacent to the space makes it ideal for cocktail parties. The Grand Ballroom is the entire third floor of the venue and it features incredible stained glass windows, high ceilings and breathtaking balconies. You can invite 300 of your friends and family here. All of the marble and stained glass are originals, dating back to the early 1880’s and were imported from West Germany. The winding white marble staircase and the huge hand carved library present more opportunities for a memorable album. Trust in the events team to oversee every detail with great care.
