The Best Time of the Year to Propose in Oregon
The best time of year for Oregon proposals will vary depending on the kind of proposal each couple wants—however, Maxine recommends popping the question between June and early October. "Summers in Oregon are just stunning everywhere you look from the flowers to the sunrises and sunsets," says Maxine."And, the Autumn colors are truly just magical throughout the state."
Although Oregon is a beautiful state filled with greenery and foliage, the weather can be unpredictable. With that said, Maxine shares that the state experiences a rainy season which typically starts in mid-October and lasts until around mid-March (so be sure to keep that in mind when planning your special moment). "Look at the weather ahead of time," advises Maxine. "If it does call for some rain or wind–embrace it. Some of my favorite sessions have been during what one might call a "less than ideal" day due to the weather."
