The Top 14 Industrial Wedding Venues in the US
The bare nature of industrial wedding venues is what makes them appealing to so many. Often, these restored lofts, warehouses, factories and buildings boast open floor plans, brick walls, soaring windows bringing in natural light, exposed beams and rafters, concrete or hardwood floors—and little else. The structural design elements are covetable, and the vast emptiness elsewhere in these spaces leaves so much up to the imagination. This means that if you opt for an industrial wedding venue, you'll likely wind up with wedding day decor that is totally up to you. Whether you go rustic, romantic, glam, eclectic or any style in between, the setting will be a testament to yourself, your partner and your love story.
What makes industrial event venues even better is that you can find them in most cities across the United States. And, because they're indoor venues, they're suitable for weddings year-round. If you aren't buying into the hype or you're not convinced about how industrial-chic these venues can become, let us change your mind below. We've sourced 14 outstanding industrial venues from all over the country that can help you make a bold statement on your big day.
Warehouse Winery in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Minneapolis's Warehouse Winery is an eclectic industrial wedding venue and working winery. The event space's decor is a hodgepodge of metals, light fixtures, chandeliers, wine barrels and internationally sourced collectibles. The self-described "relaxed" venue is so much fun and can accommodate 150 guests for a seated dinner or 200 for a standing event. Your one-of-a-kind wedding day will include a reception room, an event coordinator, a sound system, tables, chairs, lounge furniture, uplighting, a bridal suite, HD TVs and more. You can also utilize add-ons like candelabras and candles, a pool table and an outdoor patio setup.
The Loft by Bridgeview in Island Park, New York
The Loft by Bridgeview in New York's Island Park village has all the characteristics of a contemporary industrial space, such as reclaimed wood and exposed brick. This industrial vibe is elevated by other chic details, including waterfront views, decorative lighting and crystal chandeliers. What else is great? The venue also offers a list of preferred vendors for photography, videography, music, florals, transportation, decor, hair, makeup and more.
Prospect House in Dripping Springs, Texas
Twenty-five minutes from downtown Austin, on 20 acres of Texas Hill Country, you'll find Prospect House—a strikingly modern special event venue designed by Texas architect Max Levy. The industrial details here are understated but ever-present: In the Breezeway, for example, exposed framing illuminated by natural light will grab your attention. The Biergarten outdoor space features a concrete and steel bar. And the Main Hall indoor space features paneled 15-foot-tall ceilings. As noted on the Prospect House website, the interior and exterior spaces were designed to flow "from one to the other and back again," and they do. It's a truly gorgeous minimalistic space that can be the blank canvas for your big day.
Melrose Market Studios in Seattle, Washington
Head Northwest, to Seattle, for an industrial destination wedding at Melrose Market Studios. Brick walls, exposed beams, concrete floors—the staple industrial interior design elements are all here at this refurbished 1927 building. New England's Olio is located 30 minutes from Boston, in Peabody, Massachusetts—and with hardwood floors, cement walls, exposed beams and soaring ceilings, it's about as industrial as it gets. It's another blank canvas venue; dress it up, make it rustic, bring in romance … no matter your wedding day style, your celebration here can reflect it. The event space has history, too: The building dates back to 1912, at which time it was originally home to the Strand Theater. (It was sold in 1957.) From November 2018 to April 2019, it was renovated into what it is today—Olio—while maintaining its historic charm.

Host your outdoor wedding ceremony on MyMoon's deck, which can hold up to 160 guests and features a retractable roof, glass walls, and heating (if needed). Luminary in Brainerd, Minnesota
Minnesota's Luminary is gorgeous. It's located inside the Clocktower at Northern Pacific Center. We love it because the venue took its industrial elements (bricks, exposed beams, soaring windows) and made everything white. The resulting aesthetic, mixed with tons of natural light and a gold stenciled floor, is indescribably pretty. Needless to say, you won't need a photo booth to take Insta-worthy pictures. Luminary can also host your wedding ceremony, but if you want something different, there are other Northern Pacific Center options too: the Courtyard, Three Main, Aurora Fields, or the Red. Your Luminary rental includes reception tables and chairs, a furniture vignette rental and two getting ready suites, as well.

You can pretty much invite everyone you know, as the venue has room for 400 seated, 600 standing and an astounding 900 both indoors and outdoors.
