Aside from your rentals, you may need a few extra items to really personalize your wedding reception if they're not provided by your venue. The small details can make a big difference when it comes to pulling your look together and helping your wedding stand out. Your florist, event designer or stationer may be able to provide these items, but if not, you could DIY a few of them or buy the rest in bulk. Reference the below for all the essentials you might forget, then click any hyperlinked items to get shoppable inspiration for the category. Bonus: Most of these things are readily available on Amazon or our affordable The Knot Wedding Shop.

Reception Décor for the Table

Got your centerpieces covered? Great. But remember you might also need things like candles and other nonfloral table accessories, including table markers or table number holders.

Cake Table Reception Extras

Extras your cake baker probably won't bring include the cake topper, the cake serving set and the cake stand.

Wedding Paper Reception Extras

Paper extras you'll need (that you can order online from The Knot Invitations) are your table numbers, table menus and place cards or seating chart.

Photo Booth Reception Extras

Photo booths are tons of fun regardless—but especially when you have extras like photo booth props and a great backdrop.

Extra Touches

And don't forget the extras that'll put the finishing touch on your reception, like wedding signs (think: a bar sign, a reception entrance sign, a parking sign and photo booth sign if necessary); chair décor; cocktail napkins; guest book (don't forget the pens!); bathroom convenience basket items; entranceway and/or hallway décor; and lastly, special champagne flutes for you and your partner. Cheers to that!
