This Is How A Fishing Obsessed Couple Gets Married

by Simone Hill

Kadie and Dake from Alaska love to fish. No really. They own a fishing and sightseeing tour guide company, and recently got married in the middle of Alaska's Buskin River. Like when I say in the middle, I mean actually in the ice cold water! How cool (crazy!) is that? The bridesmaids and groomsmen accessorized their looks with waders (conveniently hidden under the bridesmaids' long purple dresses) to stay warm in the frigid water. Even though Kadie and Dake's venue was an unconventional choice, you have to appreciate that they stuck to their theme. Everything from the location to the fishing rod archway and their king salmon ring bearers (yep, you read that right) totally fit the couple's quirky hobby.
