Kim Kardashian's Wedding Makeup Artist Just Launched His Own Line
Everything Kim K. wears goes viral on the internet, and her wedding day makeup is no exception. Her neutral smokey eye and bold liner perfectly complemented her stunning long-sleeve lace gown. If you're hoping to channel the star's glam for your nuptials, we have good news. Kim Kardashian's wedding makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, has just launched his own line of beauty products. The collection includes eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners and brushes—all of which Dedivanovic says was developed with the professional artist in mind. Read: they'll help you achieve masterful results from the comfort of your own home.
"Everyone should have access to the very best quality formulas," Dedivanovic, founder and CEO of Makeup by Mario, tells The Knot. "With Makeup By Mario, I've taken my signature techniques and transformed them into accessible pro products inspired by the ones I've loved and used throughout my career." You can use the products to recreate Kim Kardashian's wedding makeup look, or you can get creative and go with your own colorful look.
If you're nervous about doing your own glam for a pre-wedding party, a minimony or a COVID wedding, Dedivanovic says these products will have you looking (and feeling) like an absolute pro—all it takes is practice. "Experiment with your makeup and practice beforehand to master your techniques!" The collection is available to shop on the Makeup by Mario site and Sephora.
Who did Kim Kardashian's wedding makeup?
Mario Dedivanovic has been doing Kim K's makeup for 12 years, so it's no surprise that he handled her wedding glam. Dedivanovic is a celebrity makeup artist who also worked with several other stars, including Demi Lovato, Danielle Union and Ariana Grande. He has also collaborated with Kim Kardashian to create a best-selling eyeshadow palette for her brand, KKW Beauty. Considering how long the two have been working together, Dedivanovic was a no-brainer for Kim Kardashian's wedding makeup look. After all, you want to trust that your wedding makeup pro will make you feel your most beautiful for the event!
Mario Dedivanovic's Makeup by Mario Line
After spending years mastering the art of makeup and becoming one of the top celebrity artists on the scene, Dedivanovic launched his own beauty brand on October 1, 2020. Makeup By Mario is a stunning, eye-focused line inspired by professional artists. (Fitting, considering everyone is wearing masks—especially at weddings—in light of COVID.)
The line includes three eyeshadow palettes: one with neutral mattes, one with colorful metallics and one with liquid-foil metals. The beauty mogul also included a unique product, the Master Metal Manipulator, to help transform metallic and metal eyeshadows into jaw-dropping eye glazes. In. addition, the collection includes a pro-approved prep and set kit so your eyeshadow can last through the ceremony, reception and beyond. The founder and CEO also developed three additional products that will help to-be-weds show off their gorgeous eyes. Shoppers can choose from an eyeliner pencil, a liquid eyeliner pen or a brightening eye pencil (or all three) to create a stunning look.
The finishing touch? Glowing, reflective highlighters that create a spotlight effect on the eyes or face. If you're feeling intimidated by all these pro-approved products, not to worry. Dedivanovic also developed brushes to help you expertly apply the primers, highlighters and eyeshadows. (Psst: he also recorded tutorials on his website to help shoppers get the most out of the products.) After using his new line, you'll roll up to your pre-wedding parties, minimony or virtual wedding looking like a makeup pro. Plus, his line includes gentle, biodegradable makeup wipes to help you take it all off after you celebrate. See some of our favorite products (and shop them), below.

Kim Kardashian's Wedding Makeup
Kim Kardashian's wedding makeup look went viral because it struck the perfect balance of bold and elegant. Dedivanovic created a pretty neutral smokey eye on the reality star and then accented it with graphic, dark eyeliner and long, fluttery lashes. The celebrity makeup artist revealed exactly which products he used to E! News (most of which were created by Urban Decay). However, to-be-weds who want to steal Kim K's style can do so with the help of Dedivanovic's new products.
Prep your eyes and use the fluffy brush to wash different shades of brown across your eyelids—focusing the darker shades along your brow bone crease and your outer corner. Using the liquid eyeliner, follow your lash line and flick out and up for a stunning winged effect. Next, dust the sparkly highlighter (which Dedivanovic says is a must-have product for to-be-weds) on the high point of your cheekbones, across your eyelids and into the inner corners of your eyes. "It creates a little sparkle dance party on the eyelids and photographs really beautifully, which is great for weddings or big occasions," he says. "It is also great on the collarbones or the cupid's bow to add a little sparkle to any look." Finish by curling your lashes and applying mascara. Check out exactly what you'll need from the Makeup by Mario collection to pull off the star's stunning look.
