Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker

Esther Lee, Editorial Director: For years, I've pondered whether the Ninja Creami was worth the investment, contending annually with my "what to buy" list leading up to Black Friday. As someone who once considered ice cream a core food group, I've only recently evolved my nutrition habits with more creatine, protein and magnesium glycinate. Sorely missing my evening gelato, yet wanting to make healthier life choices overall, what's this editor to do? That's where the Ninja Creami comes in: This mighty device can convert otherwise blasé postworkout drinks to delicious protein ice cream (a must-have for couples who hit the gym together and track their macros). It's also a versatile choice if you enjoy hosting dinner parties. Imagine disclosing that the honeycomb ice cream for dessert was concocted in your kitchen.

The setup for the Creami is relatively intuitive, but understandably can be overwhelming at first. The kitchen gadget requires counter space and there's a learning curve. For my first act, I was ambitious, leaning towards a matcha milk tea packed with collagen protein, a dash of vanilla and even vanilla pudding mix (per the Reddit thread that I lurked). Then came the hardest part: following instructions. Users have to ensure the batch is frozen at level (if at all tilted, it can compromise the machine). In our age of instant gratification, it also requires some prep work up front. Every mix must be frozen for at least 24 hours until solid. All of this is easy if you know you're planning to take it for a spin (literally) the next day. The following morning, I decided between calls to create a matcha ice cream. Once the canister is locked in place, the device spins the batch into a sumptuous ice cream texture; but then comes the real test: taste. Alas, the texture was too icy and bland, at no fault of the machine itself: I had included too much milk. Despite my failed initial attempt, this device is one that couples should consider for everyday life enhancements and hosting functions. (Oh–and what did I do with her remainder of my half pint? I played barista and made a matcha latte affogato with a double shot of espresso.)

Best for: Couples who A) care for an iced latte or postworkout smoothie during the winter months B) crave sweets, but in a healthy context C) don't want to compromise the freshness or the quality of good ice cream D) read the nutrition labels of everything at the grocery store and E) simply enjoy life, period. The Creami is for all couples.

Dreame U20 Cordless Stick Vacuum

Esther Lee, Editorial Director: I'm the proud owner and mom of a Samoyed, a white-coated, long-haired Siberian dog breed that blows its coat once a year, at minimum, and requires frequent brushing, grooming and cleaning. Don't even get me started on the dirt, dust and overall commitment that comes with raising this cloud-like fluffy floof–yet my angel chose me in life, as much as I chose him.

I've also been a connoisseur of cordless vacuums, ever since I purchased my first Dyson V7 years ago. This device was the standard, especially after it endured three moves. Yet when it came time to bring a puppy home, the V7 quickly lost its ability to sweep up dirt, as much as I lost hours of sleep tending to this adorable gremlin. I could tell it had run its course when it left behind even the tiniest pieces of debris, prompting me to purchase an alternative vacuum cleaner from another big brand. Unfortunately, this one broke within weeks, unable to withstand the power of Pado (my dog's name).

On The Knot Registry, the Dreame U20 has been a perpetual top choice for couples registering with us, and I wanted to understand the "why." While I can't speak to its longevity just yet, I can speak to its intuitive and aesthetically pleasing design–mine arrived in a biscuit hue with minimal packaging. It took all but 10 minutes to assemble and, here's the kicker: The device arrived precharged (bonus points for allowing me to put it to the test right away). My scrupulous methodology started with the large, cream-color area rug in my place, which traps plenty of dust and dirt and, of course, strands of Pado's hair. I was shocked to see the amount of particles trapped in the bin after that initial pass. After taking several strokes across the area rug, I very soon realized that the canister for this sleek and lightweight device was already full. A feature that I like about the Dreame is its blue LED lighting panel that highlights the amount of hidden dust concealed in various corners. In all, it would be a mistake not to name this device an Editor's Pick. It checks all the boxes, and is offered at an affordable price point; plus, it makes vacuuming feel less like a chore and more like an accomplishment.

Best for: Couples who proudly refer to themselves as "pet parents" and lack storage on their phones due to entire albums dedicated to their dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.; Couples who've already set their annual spring-cleaning date (and a tax date) on their calendars–the intention, by the way, is beautiful.

Hawkins New York Essential Gingham Tablecloth

Cathryn Haight, Editor: There comes a time in every interior-design enthusiast's life when they're ready to invest in real-deal table linens. (It usually comes after the urge to score some quality glassware and before panic sets in about the lack of cohesion in your holiday decor.) We're talking a nice set of cloth napkins and a workhorse tablecloth that can easily transition from a weeknight dinner to a holiday celebration. Table linens are essential when it comes to adding a special touch to your spread—and opting for items that elevate your everyday life is a great registry rule of thumb to guide your gift choices. This gorgeous tablecloth is an ideal registry addition for so many reasons. And I was supremely excited to get my hands on it, given its 100%-cotton fabric and timeless gingham pattern. I chose the Blush/Terracotta colorway, and its warm hues are equally at home as the base of a summer-in-Italy tablescape as they are within a modern-Thanksgiving vibe (though, I was equally struck by all eight of the schemes). The tablecloth spans 90" L by 60" W, so it'll definitely cover your formal dining table, but if you lovebirds are small-apartment dwellers like me, don't fret: I draped this baby over my little sweetheart table for two and it pooled just slightly on the floor in a way that's reminiscent of a romantic bistro's tablescape or the drapes in an elegant estate. We can thank the fabric for that beautiful look. In hand, it feels luxurious, yet durable. (Yes, you can easily pop the tablecloth in the wash when you spill your glass of red wine on it because you bumped the table on your way up from feeding the dog little bits of your chicken dinner—guilty as charged. Leave the dry cleaner for your cashmere.) Truly, this tablecloth will help you serve while serving dinner. Plus, just imagine your newly minted spouse fluffing this stunning linen atop your dining table with a flourish before lighting some taper candles and dishing up some homemade pasta. Or just some toast—both will look equally as good atop this tablecloth.

Best for: Any pair looking for a versatile dining-table accessory that can do double duty for holidays and dinner-date nights at home.

Coravin Pivot+

Cathryn Haight, Editor: I'm sure you've been there: You've opened some wine to make that new New York Times Cooking bolognese recipe, but it calls for just a cup. Or it's a beautiful summer evening and you have a biodynamic pet-nat whose cork is just begging to be popped on your patio, but it's also a Tuesday and you can't commit to the entire bottle—just to a small glass each. Or maybe it's as simple as you want white and your partner wants rosé. This is when the magic of the Coravin Pivot+ comes in. The simple-to-use device is designed to preserve the integrity of an opened bottle of still wine for up to four weeks by swapping out the oxygen in the bottle with argon gas. It also comes with an aerator attachment to save you that long hour or so of decanting (if you're the level of oenophile that would do so).

I don't often indulge beyond one drink, so I was thrilled to give this a spin. I opened up some wine on a Friday evening to sip a glass before meeting a friend for trivia. First, I gave the aerator a shot. All I needed to do was snuggle in one of the included stopper caps (which is what also replaces the cork when you reseal your bottle), attach the Pivot+, then snap on the aerator attachment. I held down the button atop the device to pour, which released a delightful little shower of wine into my glass. (Do be careful to do this away from any stainable surfaces unless you have a wide or deep wine glass—my glass was on the small side, so I got slight spray.) While I'm no true expert, the wine was lovely and not too harsh on the tannin front (likely because of the aerator). I removed the Pivot+, capped the wine and stuck it in the fridge for later—much later.

The following Friday, I went in for another glass to see how things held up after seven days. I attached the Pivot+ to the cap and poured a glug by pushing the button on the system. (You'd think it would be a little unwieldy, but I found the size of the pour stream to be much more controllable than that of a bare bottle.) Reader, the flavor was just as good as day one—none of the vinegar-like acridity that can plague an opened wine after just a few days, no matter how hard you squeeze the cork back in.

Best for: Couples who want the freedom to enjoy their wine a little at a time and would be remiss to waste the end of a bottle. (And those who can't resist a new kitchen gadget that actually does what it says it does.)

MacKenzie-Childs Sterling Check Pitcher

Sarah Hanlon, Editor: I'm the type of person who prefers functional homewares that double as decor—because if you have a beautiful dish, why not display it proudly when it's not in use? That's exactly why I love the MacKenzie-Childs Sterling Check Pitcher. Decorated with the brand's signature checkered pattern in light gray and white, it's the kind of kitchen essential that sparks joy whenever I see it. It's large enough to hold a few servings of any drink, making it a must-have for holiday dinners or random "just because" get-togethers. But if you're not a frequent host, it's still a worthy registry addition; it'll add a touch of whimsy to your countertop, especially if you turn it into a vase for flowers (fresh or faux). Who doesn't love a multi-use gift?

Best for: The hosts who are always in search of a delicious signature drink for dinner parties…and an aesthetically pleasing receptacle to serve it in.

Verve Culture Moroccan Shopping Basket

Sarah Hanlon, Editor: As a perpetual "bag lady," I'm always in need of more totes, whether I'm carrying a change of shoes to the office or finding myself on an unplanned errand run. And it might sound frivolous, but here's the honest truth: Cute bags make me happy. This explains my affinity for the Verve Culture Moroccan Shopping Basket. This oversized straw bag might not be the kind of product you'd buy for yourself, especially if you already have a collection of cloth Trader Joe's bags stuffed in your pantry, but curating a wedding registry gives you the opportunity to elevate your everyday products. Not only is this tote large enough for a farmer's market haul or an accidental Target shopping spree, it's the kind of bag you won't mind hanging on a hook in your entryway because it's just that pretty.

Best for: The "always on-the-go" duo who could use an upgrade of their reusable shopping bag stash.

Caraway 12-Piece Ceramic Cookware Set

Kate Traverson, Senior Manager of Branded Content: As an avid home cook who wants to avoid serving up a side of forever chemicals, I've ditched my old Teflon pans. But there are times when only nonstick will do, whether to suit the dish or because I do not have the emotional bandwidth to scrub a pot right now. For that reason, I've been reaching for the nontoxic Caraway Ceramic-Coated Cookware. I love how easy it is to clean—seriously, even melted cheese slides right off—yet how sturdy and solid it feels in the hand. The 12-piece set has handled every dish I could dream up, from chocolate chip pancakes to oven-braised beef roast (hello, date night staple). Plus, these eye-catching pots and pans are perfect for entertaining. Choose a color that complements your decor, and they can move seamlessly from oven to table for a chic presentation easy cleanup. Bonus points to Caraway for including storage solutions as part of the set—the magnetic pot rack and canvas lid holder are genius.

Best for: Culinarily curious couples who love to host a good dinner party, but don't want to spend half of it scrubbing dishes.

CALPAK Hue Carry-On Luggage

Kate Traverson, Senior Manager of Branded Content: I'm proud to say I'm a reformed overpacker who's fully converted to carry-on-only travel. Now with a decade of packing light under my belt, I have my own checklist of stringent cabin-bag criteria, and the CALPAK Hue Carry-On Luggage ticks all the boxes. It's hardsided and sturdy enough to handle a sudden rainstorm or a bumpy cobblestone street, but still lightweight. The spinner wheels roll effortlessly on hard floors, but can handle carpet or asphalt just as easily. I especially love the five extra zip pockets inside, perfect to house all the cords, adapters, and other random odds and ends that need a home in your travels. The best part? This carry-on bag's dimensions actually meet the vast majority of airlines' requirements (yes, even the notoriously picky European carriers), so you don't have to worry about a forced gate check en route your honeymoon. Big plus: If you buy too many souvenirs, the luggage can expand by two inches, so you can opt to check your goodies on the way home. (Don't worry, I won't tell.)

Best for: Jetsetters who have mastered the art of the travel capsule wardrobe and are ready to commit to the carry-on-only lifestyle.

Our Place Wonder Oven

Our Place Wonder Oven
Photo: Chapelle Johnson

Chapelle Johnson, Associate Editor: The Our Place Wonder Oven is one of my favorite kitchen appliances right now, and it's not just because it's nice to look at (I have it in the color Spice). I previously owned a basic toaster oven that had only one setting ("toast," of course), which made the Wonder Oven feel like a luxurious upgrade. Not only were the starter instructions and setup extremely easy, but so was operating the all-in-one gadget. All you have to do is select your desired temperature, cooking mode (there's six options) and cooking time. My partner and I loved using the Wonder Oven for reheating leftovers throughout the week—our chicken tacos were hot throughout and tasted delicious all over again after just five minutes—and toasting our English muffins every morning. My favorite part about the Wonder Oven is that there's enough clearance below and above where you place the wire rack or air-fryer basket so you can see all sides of what you're cooking.

Best for: The couple that loves modern-looking, Instagram-worthy kitchen appliances that actually get the job done.

Le Creuset Bread Oven

Chapelle Johnson, Associate Editor: As someone who has never owned a Le Creuset product before, the Signature Bread Oven has truly opened my eyes to what I've been missing. Not only do I love that there are 18 color options (I opted for Flame), which make it the ideal item to put on display, but the base has an impression of the signature Le Creuset logo, so it marks the bottom of your baked goods—which I think is a cute touch. I made a basic recipe from the company's site and got the most beautiful loaf because of the domed lid, which improved the height and crispiness of my bread. Two of my favorite aspects about the Bread Oven is that it's made from enameled cast iron, which means it's easy to clean and doesn't require seasoning, and the base can be used as a skillet. My partner loved being able to try out the skillet function for dinner once the bread was done. Having something that's perfectly designed for baking bread and that makes the process easy has me excited for more recipes to come.

Best for: The couple that loves baking so much that they're considering opening an artisan bakery after the wedding.

Ooni Koda 12 Gas-Powered Pizza Oven

Photo: Emily Rumsey

Emily Rumsey, Associate Editor: The Ooni Koda 12 delivers exactly what it promises: a zero-setup experience that produces restaurant-quality pizza in just 60 seconds. While there's a slight learning curve to rolling out a circular crust, the process is a delightful way to engage with friends or family for an afternoon.

To ensure success, you'll need a pizza peel (sold separately). I would recommend opting for Ooni's proprietary peel, as its dimensions are specifically designed to help you launch the pizza deep into the oven's primary heat zone for an even bake. If you use your own, a light dusting of cornmeal on the surface will ensure the dough slides effortlessly into the oven.

Best for: The couple whose house is the designated home base for the friend group. The oven is the perfect centerpiece for casual, outdoor gatherings because it turns a meal into an activity where guests can "build their own" pies.

HexClad Six-Piece Hybrid Fry Pan Set With Lids

Emily Rumsey, Associate Editor: Taking these pans out of the box is a revelation; their sheer weight and build quality immediately signal that they're in a different league than standard cookware. For years, my partner and I relied on our college-era pans, assuming they were "doing the job." We were wrong. The HexClad pans redefine the meaning of nonstick. Whether searing proteins, crisping up a scallion pancake or making a sunny-side up egg, the heat distribution is remarkably even, producing a perfect finish every time. Despite their professional-grade performance, they're entirely dishwasher safe.

Best for: The couple who values both a high-end cooking experience and an effortless cleanup, these are an absolute registry essential.

What Are The Knot Registry Awards?

The Knot Registry Awards are annual prizes that aim to relieve some of the decision fatigue of wedding planning by offering couples an extensively researched, hand-selected group of exceptional wedding gift ideas. Since 2016, our eagle-eyed registry team evaluates a product's value yearly through internal data, trusted independent reviews, in-person merchandising reviews and an outside nomination process to ensure each lives up to the hype.

How Are The Knot Registry Award Winners Selected?

Every winner is selected by our registry team, a crew with an extensive background in buying, merchandising and styling in the home and lifestyle spaces that always has their collective ear to the ground. While their intuition is spot-on (it's scary, honestly), the team also relies on a rigorous five-month research process encompassing internal research, external studies and hard data to determine what products deserve to be award winners.

First, the registry team scours our The Knot Registry Store numbers, studying what our couples frequently register for, what brands and products they regularly search for, what they review highly and what gifts guests scoop up first. The selection committee then digs deep into our detailed internal studies, like our annual Real Weddings Study and Wedding Registry Study as well as external studies to decipher the price points and categories that truly matter to couples. Additionally, the team consults hundreds of independent reviews and detailed nomination forms, and carefully sifts through sample product submissions by hand in our NYC office. Also top of mind: the top wedding registry trends for the upcoming year as well as relevant trends on Google search, Pinterest and social media platforms to stay ahead of the curve.

Why You Should Add These Winners to Your Registry

Real talk: There are countless lists out there that tell you what to put on your wedding registry (we know, we've written a few), but our whole mission with The Knot Registry Awards is to help you cut through the noise. One of the best registry tips we can give—besides to stick with what's timeless, quality and feels personal to you—is to not let anxiety over choosing "the right things" take the fun and excitement out of the process. You're getting married; focus on the joy and let us take care of the wish-list heavy lifting.

"Our goal is to curate a diverse selection that reflects both timeless favorites and fresh discoveries, ensuring couples have access to the best options across all categories," says Sam Kaplan, senior manager of registry at The Knot. "Ultimately, we want to simplify the process so couples can focus on what matters most: celebrating this exciting chapter in their lives." We'll keep putting in the work year after year to keep your registry experience seamless, so you can spend less time trolling Amazon reviews and stressing over sheet sets and more time basking in that to-be-wed magic. And to make your life even easier, your wish list will automatically populate in its own clearly marked tab on a The Knot wedding website, so sharing your registry with guests is easy.
