Best Day our lives! So many places to take wedding photos and such a diverse farm! Our wedding day was perfect!! We couldn't have asked for a better venue, a better staff, or a better day! I HIGHLY recommend this venue, but I might be a little partial to it!

Words can no express the gratitude and love I have for north fork and our coordinator Emma. Not only is the venue stunning but everyone on staff is truly amazing and went above and beyond to make our day perfect! Emma set up all of our decor and made my vision not only come to life but a million times better than I could have ever imagined. She was the main reason I was stress free all day. I cannot recommend north fork enough and want to hang out there everyday!! Thank you for everything!

We cannot thank North Fork enough for making our daughter’s wedding day magical! The venue was lovely and well suited to host our guests - over 200! The location for the ceremony was well-placed and the backdrop of the horse paddocks and pastures made it picture perfect. The event tent and outdoor areas were pleasant settings for cocktail hour allowing the guests to mingle and enjoy the farm. The event tent held everyone comfortably with plenty of room for the dance floor and bar areas. Restrooms and plentiful parking are nearby as well as a golf cart driving around for anyone needing assistance moving around the venue. The salon area and bridal suite were so great for the bridal party to have a relaxing day getting ready and enjoying each others company. The highest praise goes to the staff - our wedding coordinator worked patiently to make the bride and groom’s dream for the day come true. She patiently answered countless questions, made great suggestions and guided us through the process and details. On the wedding day, she took care of so many details and kept everything on schedule. The rest of the team helped guests in whatever way needed and kept the party going. We would highly recommend Northfork Farm Weddings!

Northfork Farm is exactly what we were looking for! The property is just stunning and the owners and staff are the greatest. Peggy was our event planner and she was wonderful. She was so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The weather ended up being rainy (which isn't ideal for an outdoor wedding) but they had plenty of options ready for us to ensure the ceremony still went off without a hitch. In addition to recommending Northfork Farm, I also highly recommend using vendors from their preferred vendor list. They provide a list with a vast array of vendors that they frequently work with and every vendor we chose was amazing and already familiar with the venue which made things run smoothly. The onsite bartender is also amazing to work with. If you're in search of a venue for your even I highly recommend Northfork Farm, not only is it a beautiful venue, but they were truly a pleasure to work with. Thank you for make our wedding day amazing!

If you need a venue this place is absolutely stunning!! They are so easy to work with and so down to earth. The property is like a fairytale ❤️ We just got married at Northfork Farm this past weekend and our guests could not stop talking about how amazing it was. HIGHLY suggest using them for your next event, they are incredible! We worked with Emma and she was such a breath of fresh air to work with, communication was amazing and she had all the ideas and advice you could ask for. She had a list of vendors so that helped immensely in the planning process. Thank you so much for making our day a true dream come true!

The professionalism was like non other! They made sure my wedding was absolutely perfect! I got married on the hottest day of the year with a heat index of 119° F and the tent kept all of my guests cool! Emma did an outstanding job and her communication was stellar! Pete offered rides for guests on his golf cart throughout the wedding to make sure people did not have to walk far! I knew from the moment I took a tour here that I just had to have my wedding here! They offer many decorations that you can add to with your own hint of color to make your night beautiful! I needed to change my date unexpectedly and they were able to accommodate without any issues! I heard they were planning on making more improvements on years to come with an addition of a new barn and that is just so exciting for all the future brides! How can you make improvements on something that was already so perfect! All brides should save their time and visit this venue first because I know you will just fall in love with it! I think I am one of the very few brides that can say nothing went wrong on my special day and it was all due to the help of Emma, Pete, and the Northfork staff! P.s. I was looking over from previous reviews and brides have full capability of choosing their own DJ and food vendor, but Northfork offers a nice list of PREFERRED vendors that work well to help with the search! I chose all my vendors (Uncle Bubs and DJUj) from their list and my night could not have been more perfect!

Let me start by saying who leaves the Bride standing outside by herself, without a jacket, in the freezing cold for 45 minutes? The answer is Northfork! There were 70 mph winds and freezing temperatures. There was no communication. The ceremony was delayed and the wedding coordinator forgot the bride was waiting outside. The venue lost power a couple of hours before the ceremony and didn't have generators. How is this being prepared? They got one generator but that was not enough to get everything up and running. We offered to go to Home Depot to buy more generators and they said we couldn't. A lot of our decorations could not be displayed due to the lack of generators. So that was money lost for us. Our coffee station couldn't be set up for the same reason. Again our money lost. Our photo booth had to be set up outside by the barn, again because of them not having enough generators. The guests didn't want to go outside to use the photo booth so we lost money on this as well. The reception tent was damaged from the high winds. Northfork didn't have enough workers so some of the bridal party were doing repairs. There were not enough chairs set up for all of our guests for the ceremony so some of the guests had to stand. Before the ceremony started I mentioned to the owner about not having enough chairs set up, he rolled his eyes, said nothing and walked away. There was no power in the bridal suite. We could not freshen up, run water, or flush the toilet. The bathrooms for the guests were totally in the dark. No back up lights. 2 of our guests got injured walking up the steps to the bathroom. There weren't any first aid kits in sight. Thank goodness I came prepared with one. The bride and groom didn't even eat dinner together because they kept getting pulled away for every issue that arose. Where was the wedding coordinator that we paid for? She should have been the one called upon to fix each problem, as well as the owners. The parents of the bride and groom were also being called upon to fix issues. We all should have been left to enjoy the day. They took no accountability. They were not prepared for the horrible weather conditions, even though this weather was forecast beforehand. Not to mention as well that when we took a tour of the venue a year before the wedding, they assured us that they would be 100% prepared and ready to handle any weather conditions possible. The bottom line is that I would not recommend using this venue for anything, especially a wedding! Take my word for it!

Northfork Farm has been in business for 9 years. We have always received excellent reviews...
on Google, TheKnot, and Wedding Wire. In 2017, we received Wedding Wire’s Couples’ Choice award. In 2023, Best of Weddings from TheKnot. Northfork Farm was also featured on Destination Chicago, channel 2 this year. We take pride in our venue and work. We do our best to make every couple's day special. In response to the above review: On November 5, 2022, we experienced an unprecedented wind event with average sustainable winds in excess of 70 mph from approximately 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Power outages began in the surrounding area between 2:30 pm and 8:00 pm. Due to these excessive winds the venue made the decision along with members of the bridal party that outdoor decorations were not going to be used outside in fear of damage to the decor and the safety of the guests. Northfork Farm is located in unincorporated Oswego, thus subject to a well system, needing electricity to run the well. Due to the power issue the trailer bathrooms and the handicap accessible bathroom were functioning but not at 100% during those hours. Throughout the day multiple challenges arose stretching our resources and requiring a constant shifting of priorities - while always keeping the bride's vision in mind and the safety of the guests. The wedding planner for this day has 9 years of experience organizing and implementing hundreds of weddings. On this particular day many plans that were previously made through numerous meetings and conversations with the bride and groom needed to be adjusted at the last minute requiring conversations with the bridal party to ensure alignment on the changes. Regarding the statement on the bride being forgotten - the wedding planner brought the bride to the staging area that is used for this location minutes before the ceremony was to start. The wedding planner did advise the bride to bring additional outerwear due to the temperature but she chose not to. The wedding planner did provide a sweater for the bride to use. At that time there was a delay in the start of the ceremony due to a vendor needing additional time to readjust his equipment to be able to provide the best sound possible for the ceremony causing the bride and bridal party a longer wait. Northfork did deliver on all items stated in their contract. Generators were available prior to the ceremony to the DJ for sound, lights were on in the tent, the bar was functioning at 100%, the caterers were able to keep the food hot and served on time, coffee was purchased and provided to the guests and the heat source in the tent was never interrupted. A photobooth was set up and operational at its scheduled time in the barn due to lack of floor space in the tent which had been previously discussed with the bride and groom prior to November 5th due to their guest count. This all being said, Northfork Farm did come to an agreement with the bride and groom to refund them 30% for the limitations that were presented due to weather.

Beware of the owners and staff you're about to deal with if you're interested in using this facility for your wedding. They were NOT prepared by any means and will take ZERO ownership and accountability. Granted, the weather was not great this day, but the owners assured us their tents can withstand weather and that they had backup plans ready, which clearly was false. The tent had multiple windows break from the wind, leaving holes that needed to be repaired in the middle of the wedding day. They lost power and did not have a backup generator, delaying the effectiveness of the music and dj and microphone. They also only have a trailer available for bathrooms, and once they finally got a backup generator, it wasn't enough to provide power to the restrooms. This left the restrooms without light and without running water, which is frankly illegal. One of our guests even fell and cut her leg open because she couldn't see going up the trailer steps. Lastly, and maybe the biggest of all, is the wedding coordinator provided by Northfolk left the bride waiting in the freezing cold and high winds for 45 minutes on her own on the front porch. Her lack of organization had the ceremony delayed, and she "forgot" that she had the bride waiting on the porch, with no jacket freezing. This was 1 of many many times throughout the night that the coordinator was scrambling and just not organized. The bride and groom still managed to have a great time, creating a memory of a lifetime, but no thanks to Northfolk Farms. We have a great family and came together to ensure everyone still had a great time, and I'm so happy for the bride and groom. But you should think elsewhere on your venue. These owners should not be in business and should not be allowed to be responsible for other people.

First class venue. Emma wedding planner is wonderful! We were treated like royalty, especially the amenities! If looking for a venue for weddings or parties, you have to visit and talk with Dr. Pete, Lori, and Emma! You will not be disappointed!!!

Northfork staff went above and beyond for our wedding! It rained most of the day, but they had multiple options set up for us in case it cleared up (which it did). The provided us with multiple resources and vendors as well. They were very flexible with last minute changes. I have nothing but great things to say about Northfork. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t change anything about it!

Visiting the Venue up until the wedding day was great. Peggy for starters is amazing, and so helpful anytime you need her no matter what questions, or concerns she is there. I felt the best part of the venue was we were allowed to create our dream wedding hands on with Peggy and Emma who are great at listening to what you want! Day of the wedding everything ran smooth and I didn't have to worry about a thing. My wedding at The Northfork Farm was everything I would have dreamt it would be, Perfect! 10/10 Venue!

We had our wedding here June of 2022 and it was everything I could have asked for. You can tell that the team truly cares for each bride and their special day. Peggy was amazing! We had to scramble to move our ceremony into the barn and Pete and his crew made it happen in such short turn around! Every detail was how I imagined and I would choose Northfork again and again!

I had my wedding here September 16th, 2022 and I couldn’t have been more happy with my venue choice. Pete, Laurie, and Emma are so sweet and heart warming making you feel so welcome. That right there sold me into booking with them. Peggy, the venue coordinator was amazing as well during our whole planning period. Any questions I had she got back to me as soon as she could. Day of wedding, Peggy and her team made my day go so smoothly and made it that much more enjoyable for me! She even jumped in to do the bustle of my dress and help fix my hair and veil for me to get on my husbands motorcycle for pictures I highly recommend Northfork Farm!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! It photographs beautifully just as it is, and provides multiple options for getting ready, ceremony and reception. Our ceremony was outside in between two pastures with horses, and our reception was in their huge, beautiful, temperature controlled tent. Emma & Pete were very nice, easy to work with, and very responsive. We chose to have our wedding on a Friday, so we set up our tables and chairs the day before. On the day of the wedding, Emma was an awesome day-of venue coordinator and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We loved having our wedding here!

Having our wedding at Northfork Farm was AMAZING. I can't tell you how many times people told me how beautiful and awesome it was in our wedding night. Everyone there is so supportive all throughout planning and answers all questions and is super responsive. You will definitely feel and know you are in great hands there. It was especially great to work with Enma, we couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. I'm dying to see the rest of our pictures! If you want a farm wedding, this is DEFINITELY the one to go with over any others.

Our wedding at Northfork Farm was absolutely perfect! Pete, Peggy and everyone was so great to work with! We had to reschedule our original date due to COVID restrictions and they could not have been more accommodating. The grounds are so beautiful and they allow so much flexibility to make the day how you want it. The one thing I will caution anyone on is the beautiful ceremony locations are outside so weather dependent (and the backup option for most larger weddings is guests seated at their table in the tent) just be mindful when picking the time of the year for your wedding! The grounds are PERFECT for a ceremony. I definitely recommend Northfork!

Can't recommend Northfork Farm enough. On top of the venue being the perfect setting, they are great to work with as well! There are a lot of decor things (whiskey barrels, tables/chairs, wooden backdrop, wood rounds for centerpieces) that are included at no extra cost to the couple to make the venue feel more rustic which I loved. Peggy, the day of coordinator, was also great to work with and helped us set up our reception site the day before to ensure everything was done how we wanted it and knew where needed to go where etc. Only thing that couldn't been better was having an option of the bartender. The bartender that must be used was not who I would've picked for my wedding and ended up not making my signature drink with the correct ingredients (not the end of the world but those details do make a difference), but other than that, everything was great!

I cannot recommend Northfork Farms enough. From the very beginning, they were responsive and accommodating and extremely nice. We were able to visit multiple times before our wedding to see the grounds. They made sure that every part of your day ran smoothly and was stress free. The decorations they offer are beautiful and amazing and our guests raved about how beautiful of a venue it was! It's everything you need in one venue.

I would give Northfork 10 stars if I could. Pete and Laurie are such kind, down-to-earth people, and wonderful to work with. Peggy, the day-of coordinator, is seriously amazing -- equally patient and organized, and always positive. Our wedding went incredibly smoothly, and honestly, I loved that I was able to just enjoy the day (instead of manage it). If there were any hiccups, I never found out about them! The property is stunning -- everywhere you look, there is beauty. I also have to mention how classy this farm really is. There really wasn't dirt, or dust, or random straw bales. We, and our guests, were very comfortable throughout the day and into the evening. Northfork is truly a cut above the rest. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I got married at Northfork Farm a few weeks ago. Our day was perfect! I would highly recommend getting married here. Northfork Farm is a beautiful venue, they have organized staff, and fair pricing. Peggy, the event coordinator, does AMAZING work and will make your day effortless. She went above & beyond to make our day special. The owners, Pete & Laurie, are such wonderful people to work with and made the whole process easy. They are very down to earth people that are invested in making your event perfect. I also recommend booking their daughter, Carly, for wedding hair & makeup. Her salon is on site, which made the whole getting ready process so easy. She does amazing work & is very professional! If you are looking for a venue that is beautiful, fun, unique, and will cater to your needs, this place is it!

My HUSBAND :) and I just got married a few days ago! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or night to celebrate. Being military, it makes planning things fairly difficult but Northfork made it easy. Peggy, the wedding coordinator, was such a blessing! She was an amazing help thru it all! She was my back bone when I needed something done, and made impossible situations... happen. My appreciation can not be over extended for this venue, we loved every minute of it with everything in us! The ONLY thing I have to say negative about the night wasn’t even about them, but the hotel on the vendors list(I think it’s being removed) it’s the Americinn hotel. After a night of partying, laughing, and drinking we got to the hotel fairly late. Come to find we didn’t have a room anymore and that SOMEONE ELSE checked themselves into my room. Please, don’t book with this hotel. Finding out at 2:00am the night of your wedding that you don’t have a hotel room will make for a difficult night... I know. Northfork was great tho. Uncle Bubs is an amazing caterer and Amy Bone Photography is who we used. Everyone was amazing and made it a night to remember! Thank you Northfork, we will be back again!

Northfork was the first venue we looked at one week after we were engaged and we fell in love instantly. We knew this was the place we were getting married! We booked the last wedding of their season on November 3rd and as the months started passing I got nervous about the weather. Each time I emailed Pete and Laurie, they would ease my mind. They were extremely responsive via email. We also went back to walk around the grounds with various venders before the wedding and Pete would always come out and make sure any questions were answered. I also rented their daughter Carly’s new salon space and she was just as friendly and responsive too. My favorite part about this venue is that it is owned by a family and it really feels like weddings are their passion, not just a business they run. I felt they went above and beyond to make sure my day went smoothly. Peggy, their wedding planner, was also incredible. She met with me numerous times and also was happy to answer any questions along the way. She is a STEAL! Book her if you choose this venue! John, the bartender was also wonderful. I really can’t say enough great things about this place!

NORTHFORK FARM FAILED US. BE WARY OF BOOKING THIS VENUE IN THE SUMMER, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE ASSURED IT WAS GOING TO BE AIR CONDITIONED, IT FELT LIKE AN OVEN. My son and his bride had their wedding reception at Northfork Farm. The venue is a beautiful farm setting with a concrete pad and a tent that is there from April to the end of wedding season. The venue was booked one year in advance. It was an end of June wedding so we asked about the air conditioning of the tent numerous times. Would it be cool for our guests? We were assured repeatedly that it would be. The bride's mother went to the venue a couple of hours before the reception to drop off some things and although the air was running, it was not cool. It was an unseasonably hot/humid day HOWEVER, we learned from the florist (she called to make sure the floral arrangements she was delivering would be delivered to a cool venue) the venue owner turned on the air at NOON for a 4:30 p.m. reception. At 4:30 nearly 200 people arrived and it was HOT! Everyone was sweating! Hair and make-up was melting off the bride, MOG and MOB and her bridesmaids. We were dressed in formalwear as the reception was more formal at the outdoor venue. The air-conditioner should have been started in the early morning hours so that it could have a chance to cool the large tent. The trailer bathrooms, although nice, were hot too.

My Husband and I were married on May 26th 2018, and our reception was at NorthFork Farm. Pete and Laurie, the owners, are absolutely perfect and they were amazingly helpful the entire process. If I could move out there and live with them I would lol. The place is perfect, perfectly decorated and the staff was amazingly sweet. I wanna have every party from now on at their place. Also, the day of planner they work with her name is Peggy, and SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Please use her! She turned the place into what I was dreaming of for years.

This was by far the most beautiful setting we have been to in 44 years of attending weddings. Very clean, quiet settting where the only sounds were the vows of the happy couple, tears from family and the neigh of a horse! Truly an idyllic setting in the far west chicago suburbs of oswego. The staff was superb and very attentive to all guests. A most wonderful, happy day

Northfork Farm is by far the best and most beautiful venue you can pick!!!! The owners, Pete and Laurie, are amazing and will help you with everything along the way! They helped make our wedding day better than we could have ever imagined!

Northfork farm is the absolute best of the best.Outstanding venue for both the ceremony and reception.The owners and staff are great to work with.The wedding planner Peggy was amazing and truly great completely kept the flow of our day going super smoothly.The view and the entire area are unbelievable.Had the most memorable and greatest day ever.

Wow, wow, wow! We LOVED Northfork Farm and everything about it. Pete and Laurie are very nice and responsive. The cost was fair compared to other farms/nature preserves. The grounds were beautiful for our summer wedding. We were able to have the ceremony in the back yard under the arch, which was perfect. The pictures we took around the barns and vintage items around the property were amazing! The tent for the reception was great, and we were happy to pay extra for the air conditioning. With our Friday wedding, we were able to start setting up on Monday,... which really helped us out a lot. The wedding planner Peggy is a WONDERFUL resource, and you should definitely hire her. She will be the biggest help with any questions, with setting up, with cleaning up, and everything else. Overall, having our wedding at Northfork Farm was the best idea ever. I cannot recommend it enough... get married there!
