Miami can be a great place to take engagement photos whether you proposed in Miami, plan on tying the knot there or simply enjoy the city. There are plenty of Miami engagement photo locations to take advantage of to make your upcoming photo shoot memorable.

1. Faena Hotel Miami Beach
One of the most eye-catching places to take engagement photos in Miami is Faena Hotel Miami Beach. While shoots on the more than 100,000 square foot beachfront area are beautiful, we recommend taking advantage of some of the dazzling indoor areas. The hotel's Living Room area offers a spacious place to pose and features vintage light fixtures and sofa pieces, while the outdoor Tree of Life lounge and bar area features a central tree display surrounded by mosaics and furniture.
2. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
It's difficult to go wrong taking engagement photos in Miami at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Featuring more than 10 acres of garden areas, it's unlikely you (and your engagement photographer) won't be able to find blooms that best speak to your photo shoot visions. There are also 34 indoor rooms inside the museum's main house featuring an array of pieces that date back to Pompeii, which you can pose next to or in front of—just remember that you cannot use flash photography.

3. Acqualina Resort and Spa on the Beach
Engagement photos at Sunny Isles' Acqualina Resort and Spa on the Beach deliver when it comes to shots that are both ravishing yet calm. This beachfront hotel has gorgeous red umbrellas with which you can frame a stunning image. If you decide to rent out a one or two-bedroom suite, you may even have access to a waterfront balcony where you can request your engagement photographer to take more private shots without all the people—we think that sounds pretty nice.
4. Miami Beach Botanical Garden
If you've found flowers and nature calling you for your engagement photos in Miami, consider heading to Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Action shots of you and your partner walking through the three-acre garden can capture the unconditional love you have for your future spouse and the beautiful blooms around you. Although you don't need to make a reservation to capture your Miami Beach engagement photos here, it is important to note that there is a $150 fee required for professional photography.
5. South Pointe Park
Located right near the Southernmost part of the city, South Pointe Park offers couples spaces for snapping candid and posed shots. Walk along the 20-foot wide promenade while your photographer captures the moment from all angles before heading to the 450-foot South Pointe Pier, where you can add some additional shots of you and your partner watching surfers. Since this is a public location, you need to register for a free permit in advance.
6. Wynwood Walls
One of the most artistic engagement photo locations in Miami is the Wynwood Walls. This street art museum houses more than 35,000 square feet of walls featuring artwork from more than 100 graffiti artists, muralists and fine artists. Since this museum is a popular tourist attraction, purchase your admission tickets in advance to secure your spot.
7. Miami Beach
Want to take some Miami Beach engagement photos? Head over to none other than Miami Beach. Although this area is known for its seven miles of beaches, it also houses several other distinct areas where you can snap photos, including the art deco Historic District and the Bass Museum of Art. Although it's unlikely your engagement photographer will be able to take many photos without any bystanders present, having some blurred into the background of some shots can be a great way to showcase the area's popularity and vibrancy.

8. Perez Art Museum
Take your Miami engagement photos at one of the most popular museums in Miami, also known as the Perez Art Museum. In addition to its more than 3,000 diverse pieces of artwork, which make up the museum's permanent collection, it offers panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, which can set the scene for some of your shots. Head over to this museum for your photo shoot sooner rather than later as it does have a hard close at 6 p.m. on most days and is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
9. Brickell City Centre
Want to have a Miami engagement photo shoot that speaks to the local experience? Consider Brickell City Centre in the center of Miami's Brickell neighborhood. Start your photo shoot by taking photos in the center of the area underneath the many white architectural structures displayed above the stores and restaurants. Add some extra sweetness to your photo shoot by stopping at Black Tap Craft Burgers and Beer to take romantic shots while sharing a milkshake with your partner.
10. Biltmore Hotel
If you're looking to take your engagement photos at a Miami hotel, look no further than the Biltmore Hotel. Although located in the Coral Gables neighborhood right outside of the city, this luxury hotel offers Mediterranean architecture inside the lobby and around the property that your engagement photographer can leverage for an enduring backdrop. As if that wasn't enough to entice you, the hotel also houses a fountain in the courtyard area and a back lawn you can utilize. You'll need to fill out a production and filming inquiry form on the venue's website in advance to secure the proper clearance, which should be completed as soon as possible to ensure availability.
11. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden provides a tropical atmosphere where you can take engagement photos in Miami (hence its name). Although you can expect to see beautiful blooms year-round, the website provides additional information on which flowers will likely grow each month so you can plan your shoot for the month most appealing to you (and your favorite types of flowers). The establishment welcomes photography and videography if you're taking your engagement photos for personal use. However, there are some exhibits within which flash photography is not permitted, including the Wings of the Tropics exhibit.
