According to The Knot 2020 Wedding Registry Study, about 40% of surveyed respondents felt some reticence requesting cash funds and other gift options. To help inspire your wedding registries, The Knot took data from each state across the country to discover trends according to regionality. In short, geographic location and entertaining styles are correlated, prompting couples to plan accordingly through their respective registries. For example, cake stands were a popular item in Louisiana (with King Cake being a tried-and-true New Orleans tradition), while slow cookers were a highly-requested home and kitchen product in Ohio—because, let's hear it for Cincinnati chili. The data also found that both Texas and New Jersey residents were big on registering for quality wine glasses.
