The Historic Planters Building in Woodville, Mississippi

The Historic Planters Building offers vintage character within a former 1903 mercantile building and hardware shop just an hour north of Baton Rouge and 30 minutes south of Natchez. The venue features a brick facade and a covered front walkway on Main Street with the original hardware store sign. The inside of the venue has a second floor mezzanine with a getting-ready suite and then one main open-concept event space with 16-foot ceilings, original hardwood floors and exposed brick walls.

Brookwood Venue in Bruce, Mississippi

Brookwood Venue is a dreamy spot with rolling meadows, a wedding chapel and a 6-acre catfish pond in the north part of the state. The white timber-framed open-air wedding chapel sits right on the water and can hold up to 80 guests under cover. The stunning grounds at Brookwood Venue make for a great outdoor reception area too—simply put up a tent or some string lights and dine and dance all night out on the property.

Graduate Oxford Hotel in Oxford, Mississippi

Graduate Oxford Hotel is a boutique property near the University of Mississippi with a posh collegiate vibe and few different areas to host your small wedding. The Helen Room accommodates up to 60 for receptions and has a private terrace and the Mae Room can hold up to 40 and features a private courtyard. For groups of up to 100, the two spaces, which both have gray walls with white wainscoting and elegant chandeliers, can be seamlessly combined.

The Henry Smith House in Picayune, Mississippi

This Victorian home and wedding venue looks like an antique dollhouse, and the celebrations held there are just as enchanting. The Henry Smith House offers a few different spots to exchange vows, including the garden, which has an archway and brick walkway, as well as a tiny stained-glass-adorned wedding chapel that can seat up to 30 and lends a super-intimate feel to small ceremonies. Receptions, meanwhile, take place under the covered pavilion, which has a brick outdoor fireplace and sparkling chandeliers. The Henry Smith House also provides catering and lodging, as well as elopement packages.

Linden Bed and Breakfast in Natchez, Mississippi

Linden Bed and Breakfast is an 18th-century estate bursting with Southern charm. You can tie the knot in front of the home's colonnaded facade, out in the garden in front of an arbor flanked by trees, in front of a towering oak tree or on a large brick patio. The best way to host a reception at Linden Bed and Breakfast is under a tent on the grounds, and you can even borrow the venue's 1949 vintage car to make your exit at the end of the night, or stay on the property in one of six guestrooms.

Fete Natchez in Natchez, Mississippi

For an adorable venue that exclusively allows micro celebrations, head to Fete Natchez, located in a 19th century building downtown. The venue also has a private courtyard that can also put on your ceremony or be used for dinner and drinks.

The Threefoot Hotel's main event space is the 625-square-foot Dreifuss Room with brass orb chandeliers and large windows. The hotel's rooftop lounge, the Box Car, can also host your wedding or rehearsal dinner and offers immaculate city views.

The Plant Venue in Jackson, Mississippi

The story of The Plant Venue goes like this: It was once a 1960s pipe plant, then an abandoned warehouse and it's now a gorgeous industrial event venue with an unexpectedly modern and organic vibe. For small weddings, though, couples often choose to host their ceremony in the tropical plant-filled courtyard and then move into the Sunset Lounge, which can seat up to 75, for a reception surrounded by plant decor, moody green walls and custom birch tables. The property also has special micro wedding packages for weddings of 50 or fewer guests and also has a stylish getting-ready room for up to 15.

The White Rose at "Waterloo Farms" is a classic rustic Mississippi venue filled with oak trees, gardens and a 1941 log and timber barn. Before toasting to your future and busting a move in the barn—which has high ceilings, exposed beams and chandeliers–hold a ceremony outside. Couples' favorite ceremony spot? On the terrace in front of the red brick outdoor fireplace surrounded by trees and twinkle lights.

Brookside Barn is a classic country-chic barn venue that checks all the boxes. The venue can accommodate up to 250, but with even smaller guest lists there is even more room to play with on the property. Ceremonies can take place in the meadow, on a wooden outdoor walkway in front of a gazebo, in front of the barn or on the covered pavilion in front of the outdoor fireplace. Small receptions can also be held at any one of these locations, or head inside the barn for dinner and dancing. The venue also has three cabins that can be used for on-site lodging as well as a 1960 Ford truck that you can borrow for photos or a wedding exit.
