Celeste in Chicago, Illinois

This restaurant might be known for its killer cocktails, but as a greenhouse wedding venue? It couldn't be dreamier. The star of the show: the fourth-floor, glass-enclosed rooftop garden which seats up to 50 (perfect for couples looking for small Chicago wedding venues). With tropical plants and brick walls crawling with greenery, this airy spot is a true garden oasis right within the city. Celeste is available for both partial and full buyouts, the latter also giving you access to the pub-style first floor bar and second floor art-deco inspired lounge.

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory in Saint Paul, Minnesota

If you're worried a wedding at the zoo doesn't sound quite so elegant, think again, because the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory has a whole lot of beauty to offer for your big day. At the center of it all? The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, a 1915 greenhouse with a 64-foot-tall inner glass dome surrounded by two long glass wings filled with flowers, bonsais, and other plants. Smaller celebrations also can take place within the greenhouse's lush, glass enclosed Ordway Gardens and Sunken Garden. Built 1979 and located in Philadelphia's largest park, the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center maintains several indoor and outdoor spaces that can be used for wedding celebrations. Center stage is the property's sprawling greenhouse, a tropical plant and succulent-filled conservatory that can host both ceremonies and receptions. The Horticulture Center also has an exhibition hall that can be used for larger events. Lastly, part of the fees from your event will also go to the Fairmount Park Conservancy.

Torn between a laid-back garden wedding and a more urban, industrial-chic wedding? The Foundry, a 19th century metal factory turned event space, offers the best of both styles. The family-owned New York venue was thoughtfully restored in 2001 and now features more than 3,000 square feet of event space that retains the space's original character, while also giving off an modern, on-trend vibe. The event venue includes several different spaces for couples to book for their special day, including a main hall featuring brick walls and high ceilings perfect for hanging lights or greenery, a courtyard with views to the Queensboro Bridge, and of course, a greenhouse with a glass ceiling and ivy-covered brick walls.

The Greenhouse at Highland Farm in Scarborough, Maine

The Greenhouse at Highland Farm doesn't offer a setting modeled after a greenhouse—as a working garden center and farm with ten acres of landscaped outdoor gardens and wildflowers, it's actually the real deal. Run by third-generation owners, the couple decided to add a wedding venue to the farm after tying the knot themselves in one of the property's greenhouses in 2009. Now they rent the property as a wedding venue for one couple per weekend and up to 150 guests. In addition to utilizing an airy 2,200-square-foot greenhouse for ceremonies and receptions, couples can also host an outdoor ceremony. And bonus: on your wedding day the venue comes with the use of a fire pit, two outdoor heaters, and games for guests to enjoy such as corn hole and giant Jenga.

Green Gardens Farm in Battle Creek, Michigan

When it comes to greenhouse wedding venues, Michigan's Green Gardens Farm has it all. The 20-acre working farm offers two outdoor wedding sites plus a 4,320-square-foot greenhouse outfitted with wood floors and string lights. The venue also comes with full weekend access to the property, which you'll appreciate considering the property also boasts recently-renovated accommodations for eight with a private balcony, fire pit, and two-person hot tub. On site, you'll also find a fruit, flower, and vegetable garden with an outdoor patio decked out with fire pits and hammocks, and you'll also have the opportunity to rent "Dotty" a vintage coffee and cocktail bar for your special event.

While Greenhouse Loft isn't quite the conventional garden greenhouse, the glass-walled venue is certainly green. The urban event space is part of the Green Exchange, a sustainable development within a former industrial building in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood and is a LEED Platinum venue designed with eco-friendly building materials. When booking the space, you get access to the 3,600-square-foot hall with 16-foot ceilings and a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows inspired by a greenhouse, 2,000-square-foot art gallery, and a neighboring 5,000 roof garden with native plants and trees. Also included in your rental: farm tables, a wedding suite, DJ, and vintage photo booth.

Opened in 2021, Greenhouse No. 7 offers 15,000-square feet of glass-enclosed glory with views of beautiful Mitchell Park. With room for up to 400 seated guests, it's one of the area's largest venues and also the only greenhouse locally that caters to special events. Inside the sprawling space you'll find large, globular chandeliers, a shiplap-filled entryway, and LED accent lighting.

Greenhouse Two Rivers in Highlandville, Missouri

Set foot in the glass-walled event space at Greenhouse Two Rivers and it's hard not to gasp at the gorgeous space. The 7,000-square-foot event wedding venue is flooded with natural light and views out to the 20-acre property. Plus, rental add-ons include wood farm tables, indoor ghost chairs, bamboo outdoor chairs, and greenery-covered chandeliers. The husband and wife-owned venue can host up to 300 guests inside the space for a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

At The Greenhouse Wedding & Event Center, elegance and excitement go hand in hand thanks to its class-topped event space and proximity to the neighboring Zao Island entertainment center. After your rehearsal dinner, you and your guests can enjoy Zao's mini-golf courses, go-karts, batting cages, and laser tag arena. Then the next day you can have a totally quiet ceremony and private reception in the venue's garden-party-chic space. Historic Shady Lane in Manchester, Pennsylvania

In 1770 a local family built a distillery above a stream on 34 acres of forests, gardens, and stone walls in south central Pennsylvania, two hours west of Philadelphia. Upon that same land today is Historic Shady Lane, a charming venue that captures the spirit of a bygone era. The venue features several locations to use on your wedding day, regardless of the size of your event. Wedding ceremonies can take place in the rose garden, on the antiqued ivy-covered bandstand, in a shady wooded area, or on the terrace in front of the venue's chandelier-filled greenhouse. In addition, the property offers two getting-ready suites, one a cottage with a full kitchen and salon, and the other with a foosball table and patio. The more than a century-old, 52-acre garden features the Palm House, a domed glass conservatory surrounded on the outside by two rectangular pools filled with water-lilies and lotuses. There are a few wedding ceremony and reception venues within the conservatory including the The Tropical Forest Conservatory which features waterfalls, a fish pond, and abundant tropical plants. There's also the Broderie room, a glass-enclosed garden inspired by Louis XIV-era French landscaping with hedged gardens, statues, and a wishing well.
