And we totally get it: Situated on 30 acres overlooking the Malibu Hills, this Tuscan-inspired estate and outdoor wedding venue will provide you with a truly beautiful wedding day backdrop. Cielo Farms can accommodate up to 200 guests and will assist you with other big day needs, including menu design, rentals, valet services, lighting and event design. This Malibu wedding venue is so breathtaking that an aerial view of the facility looks like it could be a painting or a postcard. Rancho del Cielo in Malibu, California

When you think of Rancho del Cielo, think of it as "a ranch in the sky." Triunfo Creek Vineyards in Agoura Hills, California

Triunfo Creek Vineyards is a private, family-owned estate in Agoura Hills. The site is idyllic—a French country farmhouse amid sycamore and oak trees on 55 acres of land, with the Santa Monica Mountains in the background. Your event here includes the rental location, with a capacity of up to 300 guests outdoors, from 10 a.m. on your wedding day until 10 a.m. the following day. (Music cuts off at 10 p.m.) You can work with outside vendors, and Triunfo Creek Vineyards provides a list of vendors for catering, rentals and beverages. Also included is a canopy with bistro lights.

Malibu West Beach Club in Malibu, California

Closer to the coast, Malibu West Beach Club is the spot for your Malibu beach wedding. Located between Zuma Beach and Broad Beach, the two-story event space has an elevated deck that you can use to exchange vows as Pacific Ocean waves crash behind you. Your reception will take place in a large mid-century modern room adorned with georgette chiffon and three crystal chandeliers. Despite being inside, you won't be missing out on those breathtaking views of the ocean because they are still visible via floor-to-ceiling windows. It's rustic, lush, enchanting and romantic, and that's evident from photos alone. Around since 1937, when it was founded by the Gerson family, the captivating countryside ranch has time and history on its side. Four distinct Calamigos Ranch locations can be the perfect backdrops for your big day: the Pavilion at North Point, the Birchwood Room, the Oak Room and the Redwood Room. Because you have options, the venue can accommodate parties ranging from 75 to 500 attendees.

The Lodge at Malibou Lake in Agoura Hills, California

The Lodge at Malibou Lake has over 80 years of experience hosting spectacular weddings and events within the Santa Monica Mountains. At the historical lodge, find coverage under sycamore and oak trees, and look out at the private lake. An indoor reception in the ballroom can include up to 180 guests for a seated dinner. If you opt for the outdoors, host a reception on the Great Lawn with 280 friends and family members. Other highlights include the Front Porch and the Library Bar, both of which guests can mingle at for cocktail hour. Bonus: The Lodge is fully furnished with farmhouse tables, chairs, antiques and more.

Duke's Malibu in Malibu, California

Duke's Malibu honors surfing legend Duke Kahanamoku, and the oceanfront retreat is also available to honor you and your spouse-to-be on your wedding day. Your special event at Duke's will include coastal-inspired cuisine, amazing ocean views and easy access to eye-catching locations for your first look or post-ceremony photos. Your wedding ceremony and reception will take place in the aptly named Ocean Room, built directly over the water so you can feel fully immersed in the breaking waves. Pricing starts at $500 for room rental fees on Monday through Thursday dates, $750 on Friday and Sunday dates, and $1,000 on Saturday dates. Additional charges may be added for ceremony fees and peak season weddings.

Malibu Sea View Estate in Malibu, California

Malibu Sea View Estate describes itself as a place "where the mountains meet the sea." It's yet another great Santa Monica Mountains location and Malibu wedding venue, and—fun fact—it's also used for photoshoots, music videos and TV and movie filming. The private home sits 250 feet above the Pacific Coast Highway, and it boasts a 440-foot-long flat grass lawn with unobstructed views of the ocean. Speakers are hidden in rocks throughout the property, so you won't have to worry about your guests missing out on the music. (Plus, there are no neighbors, so noise won't be an issue.) The biggest challenge at Sea View Estate may be getting your foot in the door, as the site notes that only limited dates are available by referral.

Villa Sancti Di Bella Vista in Malibu, California

Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California

The Gardens at Los Robles Greens in Thousand Oaks, California
