Wedding Style Inspiration in Honor of National Seersucker Day
It's time to celebrate the return of Seersucker day and break out your favorite summery apparel.
This all-cotton printed fabric became trendy more than 100 years ago, when a New Orleans tailor realized seersucker suits could stand up to the heat of summer months. For years, this preppy fabric was honored on Seersucker Thursday, a tradition in which members of congress would don seersucker suits on a warm Thursday in the middle of June. Discontinued for a short while in 2012, the annual tradition is back, and we couldn't be happier!
Check out these seersucker-inspired wedding looks and accessories below to learn how you can incorporate this traditional material into your wedding style.
