Tennessee may be most famous for its music scene and whiskey, but did you know that it's also teeming with natural landscapes—including rolling acres of farmland and seemingly sky-high peaks (looking at you, Great Smoky Mountains). When it comes to selecting the best wedding venues in Tennessee, options abound, depending on each couple's unique vision and preferences. What's more, Tennessee-based couples can take their pick of eclectic venues that run the gamut from barns and farms to mansions and warehouses, to luxury hotels and more.

Couples planning on saying "I do" in Tennessee should also keep in mind that the state has a moderate climate, and while there are four distinct seasons, winters tend to be mild. Summers, on the other hand, tend to be hot. Spring and fall are also popular for weddings thanks to the blossoming wildflowers and crisp foliage. So, while there is no "bad" time of year to get married in Tennessee—and outdoor weddings can technically be held here all year long—it's not a bad idea for couples craving an outdoor celebration to ensure their venue also has covered or indoor space in the event of inclement weather—and be sure to ask about this before booking your venue.

With all this in mind, we've rounded up the best wedding venues in Tennessee—all of which exude southern charm and hospitality that's sure to impress every couple. Oh, and one more thing before you start scrolling: Check The Knot Marketplace for even more Tennessee wedding venue inspiration.
