If you're on the hunt for wedding venues in Nebraska, you're in luck—we've got a dreamy line-up of options right here. The Midwestern state naturally serves up plenty of countryside wedding venues in the form of barns, farms and lodges, but there's everything from sleek hotel ballrooms to vibey restaurants, too. If you do tie the knot outdoors, keep the weather in mind—winters can be cold, summer can be humid and spring can bring tornadoes! That makes fall your best bet, but that still doesn't erase the chance of poor weather. So make sure your Nebraska wedding venue has an indoor option, just in case.

Many of the places to get married in Nebraska are located in the more populated eastern part of the state, with plenty of wedding venues in the Lincoln and Omaha areas. But we also found a couple of hidden jewels in the middle of the state and panhandle. Take your pick from the below!

The Durham Museum in Omaha, Nebraska

There are so many wedding venues in Omaha to choose from, but we love the Durham Museum for its historical wow factor. This National Historic Landmark still retains its Art Deco architecture from its days as the former Union Station in the 1930s, featuring 65-foot ceilings and glittering chandeliers. Throw a smaller reception or cocktail hour in one of the galleries or, for a larger affair, take to the Great Hall. It can seat up to 350 guests for a sit-down dinner. It's a wedding venue perfect for the history loving urban couple.

Wilderness Ridge in Lincoln, Nebraska

While this wedding venue in Lincoln, NE, gives off elevated cabin vibes, it's actually a country club. Wilderness Ridge lives up to its name with a timber clubhouse boasting a stone fireplace, rustic antler chandelier and wood carved details. Outside, a wraparound cedar deck overlooks a golf course and a peaceful lake, while a waterfall at the entrance of the property promises to wow up to 300 guests. There's also an outdoor site for ceremonies at a magnificent tree that makes a statement as an altar.

Lied Lodge at Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City, Nebraska

For a Nebraska City wedding venue, look no further than Lied Lodge at Arbor Day Farm. You won't be able to decide where you want to say "I do"! There are two indoor venues in different lodges to choose from, one with stunning views of Mother Nature and the other exuding romantic charm. Outdoors, there are six different places for your nuptials, from a grassy meadow and a hidden woodland grove to an intimate garden and a sweeping lawn lined with hazelnut bushes. Depending on which you choose, you can accommodate 150 to 250 guests. You can even add a special touch to your big day with a historic trolley ride.

Roca Ridge Events in Roca, Nebraska

Nestled in the prairie of Roca, Nebraska, this wedding venue has everything you'd imagine a prairie would have—a fresh pine barn with a large deck, a log home for a more intimate celebration or for your getting-ready suite, and a cabin, all surrounded by colorful gardens. Roca Ridge Events also has all the decor you'll need included in its rental package, from wine barrels and easels to silk flowers and vases. They also let you choose any vendor you want without extra fees or requirements. Overall, it's one flexible package.

Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront in South Sioux City, Nebraska

For a more contemporary wedding venue, the Marriott in South Sioux City, Nebraska, serves a straight-up luxurious feel. It has several ballrooms, holding anywhere from 120 to 600 guests, that are sleek and glam thanks to gold and silver ceiling fixtures and a neutral palette. We suggest throwing your reception in one of them and exchanging vows out on the garden terrace that overlooks the Missouri River. And because it's located downtown, there will be plenty for guests to do until the big day.

The 1206 in Crete, Nebraska

If you want a small town wedding with big vibes, look no further than The 1206. An LGBTQIA+ and woman-owned business, this wedding venue emits a 1920s feel thanks to its Art Deco inspiration—think a Speakeasy-esque lounge, high ceilings and jazz music. But what else would you expect but an eye for design from an owner who was a wedding photographer for several years? You'll have a romantically vintage aesthetic prime for getting a party started that calls for very few additional decorations. Even better, the price of the space tops out at $3,500 for every 100 guests (it can hold up to twice that amount).

Red Barn Chapel in Blair, Nebraska

With stone fireplaces, brick flooring and exposed wooden ceilings, Red Barn Chapel epitomizes the classically rustic barn wedding venue. It's a prime foundation for creating a romantic mood with gauzy drapes, accents of greenery and lace tablecloths. This century-old barn has been modernized while retaining its more traditional characteristics, holding up to 150 guests. Exchange vows under the barn's candlelit chandeliers, in the woods or pondside under a stained glass arch. There's also a covered patio perfect for lawn games and cocktail hour.

A View West Shores in Waterloo, Nebraska

A View West Shores fulfills all of our lake wedding dreams. An outdoor terrace with a pergola nestled in its corner provides a stunning backdrop of the water and lakeside homes for your nuptials. The only thing that would make this wedding venue better is a glowing sunset. There are three reception spaces to choose from depending on how big your wedding is (the largest seats up to 350 people), with whitewashed brick and wood floors for that natural and neutral lake aesthetic.

The Acreage in Palmyra, Nebraska

Brides, get in line! This brand new wedding venue in the countryside of southeastern Nebraska plans to open in October 2024. The Acreage is aptly named, sitting on 60 acres of pastures rich in rolling hills and creeks. It's a stunning backdrop for bride and groom photos, which you can take with the horses and mini donkeys on the property. The building itself is just as stunning with a chic contemporary vibe that's open and spacious thanks to a black-and-white palette, floor-to-ceiling windows and 6,400-square-feet of reception space. There's also a patio space outside adorned by columnar trees and featuring fire pits and yard games. Bonus: the venue offers a glass mirror photo booth.

Papa Moon Vineyard and Winery in Scottsbluff, Nebraska

Many of Nebraska's wedding venues are located in the eastern side of the state, but Papa Moon is a hidden gem in the panhandle. The family-owned winery showcases the best of western Nebraska with streams, forests, wildlife and, of course, vineyards in abundance on the property. It even has a cider house with tasty handcrafted drinks. They offer a ceremony and reception package at $4,000, which includes separate getting-ready suites, photos anywhere on the property and a wedding altar setup right in front of a tranquil stream.

SparksBarn in Louisville, Nebraska

We love SparksBarn because it has an airy aesthetic different from other barn wedding venues. It's been refurbished and renovated—on the technical side, it includes air control and a SONOS sound system for a more comfortable and lively wedding; in terms of aesthetics, three walls are lined with windows for scenic views, while an eclectic yet elegant chandelier hangs from a lofty ceiling. Light wood paneling and beams completes the open feel. You can also tie the knot or throw cocktail hour outside next to the grassy farmland and pond.

The Village in Kearney, Nebraska

Situated in the Heartland of Nebraska, The Village is a rustic wedding venue with a banquet hall for your nuptials and a ballroom for your party. Think dancing the night away under glowing bistro lights woven throughout the wooden ceiling trusses and steel beams. It can hold a hefty crowd, too, accommodating up to 300 guests. They even offer a wedding package from Thursday through Sunday, during which you'll have 24-hour access to the venue, making last minute wedding planning details as breezy as they can be. If this doesn't tickle your fancy, check out Village Events' other venue, The Farm, which is about 20 minutes away.
