The View at The Battery is a highly rated event venue located in New York City's The Battery (formerly Battery Park), a 25-acre public park on the southern tip of Manhattan. Asticou event spaces are comprised of the Grand Lawn, the Dining Room, the Outdoor Patio and the Harbor View Room. If you're hosting an out-of-town wedding, your guests can stay on-site at the Great Northern Resort's West Glacier Lodge or one of five Swiss chalets. While your venue rental includes only the basics (the ceremony and reception sites, event tent and access to water, electricity and restrooms), the venue can recommend wedding coordinators to assist you in the planning process.

Whether you're opting for a casual vibe or elegance, you can throw your ideal event, with up to 300 people, here. Packages are available for both outdoor ceremonies and indoor ceremonies followed by a reception inside the Oaks. If you want to hold your reception elsewhere, you can do that too: For $600, you can purchase the Ceremony Only, Gazebo or Bandshell package.

The organization has 120 vacation home rentals located inside of Yosemite National Park in the town of Wawona, and they can help you understand—and plan—your stunning park wedding. First, in order to throw a truly private event (aka no interruptions from park visitors), the Redwoods recommends renting a vacation property or the Redwoods in Yosemite Wedding and Event Center. For your event center wedding, you can hire a caterer of your choice, bring your own alcohol, decor and entertainment and, with permission, use the on-site fireplaces.
