Indiana is known for its sweeping crop fields filled with the state's golden currency (that'd be corn) and is also one of the best places in the country to have a proper barn wedding. That said, you have lots of options when scouting barn wedding venues in Indiana. From classic red barns with towering silos situated in the countryside to modern-style barns that aren't too far from the city, there's a venue for everyone.

When booking wedding barns in Indiana, weather is the first factor to keep in mind. Plenty of venues provide heating and cooling for your guests, but some may not (and may not even be available to book during certain times of the year). When going through your wedding planning checklist consider details like on-site facilities and amenities, the size of your guest list and vendor rules.

With all that in mind, here are some of our favorite Indiana barn wedding venues.

The Old Barn at Brown County in Nashville, Indiana

The Old Barn offers a romantic and rustic setting that's secluded along the back roads of Brown County. Built in the 1800s, the structure is ripe with history but has since been restored and outfitted with chandelier lighting and new floors alongside its rugged wood walls and beams. By the way, Brown County is known for its incredible fall foliage and people flock to the area during autumn for this very reason. Time it right and nature will take care of all the decor work for you.
