Hotel St Germain

The French-inspired Hotel St Germain is easily amongst the beautiful small wedding venues in Dallas, Texas. This mansion-turned-boutique hotel feels worlds away from the bustling city with its manicured courtyard reminiscent of one in Paris. Inside, you'll find antique furnishings from France and some seriously spectacular interior design elements in the form of striking chandeliers, gorgeous gold accents and large windows to let in natural light. Couples also have the option of hosting their wedding festivities outdoors, and the space can even be tented in the event of inclement weather. Couples looking for a beautiful church wedding venue should seriously consider The 1906 in Whitesboro. This North Texas wedding venue is named for the year it was constructed. In 2013, it underwent a massive renovation to return to its former glory. The sanctuary features restored stained glass windows and a timeless neutral color palette that goes with (pretty much) any wedding aesthetic. Adjacent to this space is the reception area with original tin ceiling tiles and pine hardwood floors—plus more modern features like a professional sound system and electric piano. Tables and chairs can also be provided for added convenience. Downstairs, there are two rooms for relaxing and getting ready.

Last but not least, couples can meet with the property's very own wedding consultant, who is on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Magnolia Terrace

Capacity: Up to 100 guests

Just 40 minutes outside of Dallas lies the city of Frisco, and it's here where you'll find the magnificent Magnolia Terrace. Host your ceremony out on the covered lawn that's flanked by flora-filled gardens and features a rustic stone accent wall, a pond and trees adorned with string lights, all of which only add to the fairytale vibes. As your guests enjoy cocktail hour—perhaps by the outdoor bar built into the vineyard's stone walls—sneak off with your new spouse to share a celebratory toast in the secluded Wishing Well Garden. The soiree will take place in the glass-enclosed reception room with an attached covered patio so that guests can dance al fresco. Couples who book the venue will also have use of the charming on-site house with an elegant dressing suite (great for getting ready with your crew!), a smaller dressing room, a prep kitchen and extra guest bathrooms.

If you're looking for the most spectacular small barn wedding venues in Texas, let us introduce you to The Chapel at Gruene in New Braunfels (around 35 miles northeast of San Antonio). The venue spans ten private acres of farmland and features a charming chapel designed to resemble the quintessential country barn (think: white shiplap walls, white benches, high ceiling beams and, of course, those classic barn doors!) After exchanging vows, head to the reception hall, where design highlights include exposed wooden beams and sparkling chandeliers. Additionally, as part of the wedding package, couples have access to four elegant cottages—each of which is distinctively designed and equipped with full kitchens, stocked coffee stations, living rooms and multiple bedrooms—accommodating a total of 25. Keep in mind that these custom-built cottages also have their own outdoor common space with fire pits and seating, making it the ideal setting for a casual after-party.

The Belamour

Capacity: Up to 120 guests

The Belamour, which translates to "beautiful love" in French, exudes elegance in every sense.

With several indoor and outdoor event spaces to choose from, this Houston, Texas wedding venue is sure to please. The Dining Room, with its eye-catching crystal chandelier and plush furnishing, is a highlight, as is the Garden Pavilion, which has plenty of natural light plus a boxwood wall to help bring the outdoors in. The space can also open up to the outdoors, making it an excellent option for couples wanting an outdoor wedding. The venue offers three packages based on the size of the event; some even have added perks like valet parking and overnight accommodations for up to 11 guests. Regardless of which package you choose, each includes ceremony chairs, chic gold Chiavari chairs, tables (high-tops for cocktail hour and round one for the reception) and linens. There's also an on-site venue manager whose job is to ensure your special day is a (stress-free) success.

Sophie's Gasthaus

Capacity: Up to 75 guests

Sophie's Gasthaus is another New Braunfels favorite. The wedding venue, which also doubles as a boutique hotel, is housed in a 1906-era estate. Boasting an expansive lawn, stylish interiors and a courtyard, this wedding venue is, in a word, charming. The tree- and greenery-lined pool area is the perfect backdrop for photos, too. Your caterer can take advantage of the full chef's kitchen to prepare a mouthwatering dinner for your guests to enjoy in between drinking and dancing. Plus, there are a handful of other indoor and outdoor spaces for couples to utilize throughout their special day, including the communal outdoor area on the lawn dotted with firepits.

Hawthorne House

Capacity: Up to 60 guests

This historic Houston wedding venue is housed inside a 125-year-old Victorian mansion that's instantly recognizable with its cheery yellow facade. Despite the home's exterior maintaining its Old World charm, the interiors have been renovated and feature contemporary, elegant decor. The backyard pool area, flanked with shrubbery and cute stone cherubs, is ideal for the ceremony or reception since it has ample seating, a fire pit, an outdoor fireplace and a large table. Cocktail hour can take place on the front lawn and wrap-around porch. Inside, there's a parlor room with a roaring fireplace and stunning statues; a powder room; an opulent spiral staircase for frame-worthy photos; a getting-ready suite; a seating area and a spacious bedroom (complete with an en-suite bathroom and balcony where the bouquet toss can take place). Other amenities include a state-of-the-art kitchen, a dining room with a fireplace and piano and a lavish living room.

The Whispering Oaks Estate

Capacity: Up to 80 guests

The Whispering Oaks Estate is located in the scenic city of Dripping Springs. This luxury wedding venue is spread across 10 private acres dotted with swaying oak trees and offers picturesque Hill Country views. Following your outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour (where guests can sip signature drinks while playing some lawn games, which, yes, are included in the rental fee), the reception will be held in the minimalist-inspired indoor event space that can be decorated accordingly based on your wedding theme. The venue also provides up to 80 wooden folding chairs and 14 tables (10 round, four rectangular). Guests have use of both the main house and the guest house to get ready for the day's events; however, overnight accommodations for up to 25 people cost extra, as do the use of propane heaters, which is important to consider if you're having a winter wedding. Post-reception—and assuming you choose to stay the night—keep the party going with family and friends as you roast s'mores by the fire pit and take a celebratory dip in the pool.

Silo and Oak

Capacity: Up to 72 guests

Couples craving a classic country wedding aesthetic will love Silo and Oak for its shabby chic vibes and serene surroundings. Located in the city of Temple, it's one of the best small rustic wedding venues in Texas. Ceremonies can be held indoors inside the chapel with beautiful barn doors or outdoors in the woods or in front of the silo. Receptions occur inside a separate area adorned with string lights and furnished with rustic farm tables; there's also a courtyard for additional space. Two getting-ready suites, along with the bar and several restrooms, can be found inside the old milking barn. Silo and Oak offers several different package options based on the size of your event; those who book the Full Wedding Package can take advantage of, well, a full suite of amenities such as an on-site venue manager, a one-hour rehearsal slot, outdoor games, tables and chair rentals and a slew of decorations including but not limited to: chalkboard signs, vases, lanterns, whiskey barrels and crates.
