The Hotel Concord in Concord, North Carolina
Christmas weddings are often synonymous with gorgeous hotel venues. The Hotel Concord is an example of that. This historic North Carolina hotel was built in 1926, and its grand ballroom features original hardwood floors, chandeliers and more. The Hotel Concord has a three-tier package system. Tier 1, the most expensive, is the all-inclusive package, with a full open bar, options for a buffet or sit-down dinner, cocktail hour appetizers and much more. Tiers two and three do not include catering. As a bonus, the hotel offers an optional rehearsal dinner package composed of a four-hour dinner party with catering, beer and wine.
The Allan House in Austin, Texas
The Allan House is a historic Victorian wedding venue in Downtown Austin dating back to 1883. The venue has indoor and outdoor event spaces, but what makes it perfect for a Christmastime wedding is the winter tent. The clear, 3,800-square-foot tent is heated and spans the entire outdoor courtyard; it also comes included with all event rentals in December, January and February. One look at The Ruins' interior event spaces will have you understanding why it would be wonderful for a Christmas Eve wedding. Each space, including the dining room, library and lounge, is opulent—but none so much as the ballroom. With a hand-painted mural, a stage and space for 120 guests for a seated reception, the room is next-level. The dining room's two fireplaces also play into the aesthetic of the holiday season. This whimsical venue can fit 150 for a seated reception and up to 350 for a standing event.
Mammoth Mountain Ski Area in Mammoth Lakes, California
What's more perfect for Christmas time than saying "I do" atop a snowy mountain? At Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, that can be your reality. Your winter wonderland wedding here will be amplified by fireplaces, seasonal beverages, snow (of course), and the ability to ski or snowboard down from the summit after your nuptials. Vegetarian, Vegan and gluten-free catering options are available, and you'll have access to Mammoth's on-site event planners. 14TENN in Nashville, Tennessee
14TENN is a stellar Christmas wedding venue in Nashville. Why? Because it is really a bright, blank canvas in which you can bring your holiday vision to life. 14TENN's interior features white exposed frame walls, wood floors, tall ceilings, market lights and chandeliers. The venue can also accommodate weddings both intimate and grand (up to 275 guests). Plus, you can vet and hire vendors of your choice, and you have access to the venue from 10 a.m. on your wedding day to 10 a.m. the following morning. Other perks include tables, chairs, a suite, client concierge and more.
Union League Club of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois
It's easy to envision your dream Christmas wedding within the Union League Club of Chicago. And if you have high standards, you can rest assured they'll be handled up to your taste by such a storied social club. The club's event spaces can host up to 400 people and accommodate up to 180 overnight guests. In addition to the handful of indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces available, there are also two restaurants, a gastropub and a coffee shop on-site. Battello in Jersey City, New Jersey
While a Christmas wedding with vistas of the New York City skyline may feel like something out of a movie, it's reality at Battello in Jersey City. Situated on the Hudson River, this self-described "eating and drinking complex" is a dreamy wintertime event venue. Battello's private event spaces include the wine cellar, the lounge and the main dining room. The wine cellar is a fully enclosed space for up to 16 guests. The lounge features a private entrance, direct access to the bridal suite, A/V capabilities and room for up to 100 guests seated.
